Anyone know how to clean out these cartomizers?

I got these ones... Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - 510 Cartomizer

But when I pop the cap off there's another plastic piece inside that comes off as well, but beyond that it's like it's all one solid piece inside with no way of getting to the cloth inside to clean it in any way, which will wind up making these more disposable than I originally intended. Right now I either have to fill them using the condom method, or with a syringe from the atty side. I haven't tried the syringe yet actually. Anyway, with how these are built, does anyone know of a method I can take them apart and clean them out, so I can maximize their durations without them getting clogged up or anything?

My next order will not be this kind. I would rather be able to pop the cap off and see how much juice is actually going in rather than rely on how I am doing it now.

Most people here just soak them in alcohol and let them dry.

Those are the ones that are put together like CE2's from my understanding. My CE2 cleaning method is to inject it full of cheap vodka(Everclears banned here) untill it starts overflowing, then let it sit for the night or longer, suck/blow all the vodka out then let it dry for a bit, since the joyes actually contain fillers I'd put them in a warm area for 24 hours to dry out.

would rubbing alcohol work? I don't have any vodka or anything and would prefer not to buy any to be honest.

Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) works, but it works best if you get the 91% instead of the 70% that can leave a residue. I usually just soak mine in boiling water for about 5 minutes, let them cool on a towel, then blow them out. I let them dry over night before using them again. Everyone has a different cleaning system they use.

If these are E2v4's, here is my cleaning routine. I hate to waste good alcohol..........

1cup water in the micro on the beverage setting (brings to almost boiling)
Take the rubber stoppers out of your cartos and give them a quick rinse in hot running water
Drop them in the cup of really hot water
Add 1 denture cleaning tab
Let soak 30min or so
Rinse
Shake out/blow out carto
Place cartos on a couple paper towels in a pie plate
Place in oven on "Warm" for 30 min or so
Remove, let cool
Fill and vape.......................

There are no rubber stoppers. There's no way to get inside it unless I somehow find a way to break the atty off the thing and go in that way. I wish they were the kind with the rubber stoppers. I wouldn't be asking this if that were the case. Looks like I am gonna have to use the alcohol method with these. I don't think I can place them in boiling water since they are plastic either. Something tells me that would cause an issue.

I just got through disecting ones of these....As far as cleaning them goes...Based on their construction(they seem to have the normal cart type filler inside), I would guess you'd need to soak them for awhile(hot water would probably do) to eliminate any old ejuice residue....Personally I haven't tried cleaning any...I seem to burn mine before I ever get a chance to flush them out...

FWIW...The reason I ripped one apart tonight is because of the burnt taste I was getting on a fairly new one....I found the filler had been singed VERY slightly at the atomizer contact point...but enough nonetheless to make it unvapable...I still find these types of cartos to give me the best vaping experience...but they do burn easliy...and without much warning....Best to change them out at the first sign of flavor dropoff...

I picked up an ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight the other day (the best they have, my friend bought the$ 25 unit and isn't happy with it) Been cleaning everything in it...everything...lol

The Joye cartomozers are designed to be filled with a syringe and needle. You remove the top cap and the little cap inside and you will see a small tube in the center which is also sealed. You need to break the seal inside the little center tube with your needle (if its heavy enough I use and 18ga) or with a paper clip. It takes a little pressure to beak the seal in the tube. Once thats done you fill it through that little tube with your needle and syringe. they hold around 1ml of juice before it drips out of the addy. The good part is if it starts to drip out you can pull back on your syringe and suck some juice back up when it starts to drip.

I would think if you wanted to wash one out you could squirt a few syringes full of vodka or some other strong grain alcohol or maybe very hot water through them and let them dry.

These are built just like the ego mega cartomizers the ego megas work the same way only they hold twice the juice.
