i believe you are on target about air bubbles cuz the draw is VERY airy. but i didnt think i was injecting much air into the cartos...i am a medical professional and adept at using syringes and it is second nature for me to fill syringes without air...

May i suggest checking for air bubbles in the syringe? My Volcano Magma cartomizers and megacartomizers fill like that; half work perfectly and half have that flavored air thing going on -- then after a while, they normalize and work. My suspicion is air bubbles and I'm checking it out.
Cartomizers I know to work: X-Power 900; pull the cap and drip right onto the fill, works every time. Same thing with e-cig technologies; but those cartomizers are good for maybe three or four fills before the atomizer part is shot.

i highly doubt its the product-the supplier is excellent-litecigusa. i am sure it has something to do with technique or simply that cartomizers just wont have the same full flavor taste of saturated cartridges. yes, they are "firing" correctly-heating. i do get vapor. but lots of "air"...kinda airy draw with minimal flavor. EVEN with a strong juice like cinnabomb!

It should have worked on your first try because what you did was correct. Make a complaint to your supplier.

Edit: Oops, I am always forgetful. Bring the mouthpiece close to your ear. Fire it on. Can you hear anything sparking?

i dont see any air vents on eGo mega cartomizers-its one solid piece with no holes on the sides. just holes at the mouthpiece (three) and of course the hole at the battery end.

Another pointer...try placing a finger over one of the air vents on the cartomizer. Sometimes this works to get a heavier hit.

I use mega cartomizers - I find them more airy then others - much less th but a lot of airy vapor. I don't find them lacking in flavor - but that could be because I tend to vape light fruity sweet flavors and I do not like throat hit - so they are good for me.

From what you are saying you are doing everything right - but this type of cartomizer may just be wrong for you. I do not care for boge cartomizers which many people love. They have a harder - harsher draw with more throat hit; maybe you will like them?

But cartomizers in general do not give as good a flavor as dripping - regretfully i have no luck with attys - no matter how wet I keep them they tend to die on me after a couple of days - so for the most part I am stuck with cartos

I had a few that did this. This was my fix for it. Trim the bottom plastic back a tad. Screw it back on snug. Try it. I was getting too much airflow. Trimming it made the air holes plug a little when I screwed it back in. Also, when filling, take your needle after your done, and insert it into each of the airholes and extract any juice that is in there. This will help also.
