I just quit a month ago. I didn't feel depressed at all. I was actually giddy about not smoking. I just vaped my head off for the first week. I was dripping a lot because you get a lot of vapor. I used 24mg also. They do have 36mg. You might want to try that.
For me it was just having the 24mg and lots of vapor that got me through. I never felt like I was jonesing for a smoke. I had egos and a drip tip. Now I have egos and CE2 Clearomizers, Next stop...Reo Mini. I keep saying that, I think I'm just working up the courage to buy it!. LOL

I used 36mg e-juice for months. It took care of the residue of my body wanting nic AND of my mind wanting nic.

Now I'm using some 24mg but mainly 12mg.

Just because you have a "stinkie" every now and then doesn't mean that you are in any way slipping or failing yourself. Everyone seems so different in the style and timing of their letting the smokes become an addiction of the past...finally...whew!!!!

Keep vaping and trying different flavors and strengths. Pretty soon all you will be wanting is to vape, vape, vape.

Good luck on your quest for sanity w/o cigs...you can do this.

(I lived in Eureka Springs for 7 years and hung out in Fayetteville quite a bit for that "Big City" feel...lol.)

Don't let the "slip" bring you down. Those slips happen to a lot of people. I bought a few packs after I first started vaping. A lot of people here did, I bet.

What are you vaping? What sort of PV do you have and what sort of juice are you using? What ended up really working for me was getting set up with kit that allows me to closely resemble the hit off a cigarette in things like the temperature and density of the vapor. From all the parts I've gone through in the last months, I found a couple of things that deliver a very cigarette-like vapor hit. I don't go for that all the time and I need to have that less and less as time goes by.

I have a few PVs I use and I vape a lot of different flavors. All of my gear produces different vapor and flavor density. I'm not too picky about it except when I'm on the jones for a smoke. When I am craving a cigarette, I break out one of my better performing 510 attys with a cartridge of a tobacco flavor I like. It satisfies the craving. All my current kit is 510 threaded, so it doesn't matter what PV is handy to put it on so I'm always ready to confront a craving by satisfying it.

That strategy has been working for me for months. I didn't mark the calendar for my last camel, but I'm going to guess it was at least 6 or 7 months ago. I don't know how long I was vaping before I was no longer indulging in the occasional cigarette, either. Until i developed a good strategy and found a few excellent attys plus a good tobacco flavor, I was really unwilling to completely quit.

Good luck at school!
