Um…the owners sister can fit in the passenger floorboard with two friends perched out of the T-tops if I recall correctly. That was a little while ago but I'm pretty sure that was possible, while completely sober and totally substance free of course…yep…ok…the sober and substance free part might be a stretch.

That sounds about right. Passenger side was big enough for whatever was needed.

I never endeavored to drive one and thankfully I was never a passenger.

Well this makes no sense. How can you be thankful you never road in the only American mid engine sports car. It's pretty much a go kart. If it was updated to have the same power as an S2000 the S2000 wouldn't touch it.

serious 80's flashback here..

yep, owned a few of them in my time.. bought my daughter one as her first car (reasoning - only 1 distraction at a time traveling with her)

also owned a few Fiat X19's in the 70's.. now them was some bad azz mid engine toys..
