Alright well lets just say my experince with the E cig has not been all that great to say the least.

So does anyone know a store or some place I could go for someone to explain how to use the e cig.

The metal taste in my e cig was just going away and I put in a brand new cart and it tasted like metal again.

Please help or i'm about to toss this thing

Hi wisco. Not in Wi but might be the flavor of carts you are using.
I always suggest ejuice and a few varieites also so you can get a feeling for an array of flavors.

The device itself is a huge factor in how your vaping experience will go. I started with a 510 and found fast it wasnt going to cut it for me. I purchased some mods here from the ecf members and now have many along with 6 volt device and I use most of them daily.
Makes a world of difference in throat hit and satisfaction.

Not knowing what device and flavor you are using cripples me to give a better response to your problem.

Metal taste can be a new atty, lack of juice on the atty or the cart you are using. Also can be the flavor itself you are using. Lots of variables/

I have a joy 501

I have no juice(its in the mail) and the only thing I have are the carts they came in.

All they say is MLB HIG, I thought they might be empty, but when I touched the cart their wet.

I've been smoking it for about a full day now and thought I should put in a new cart to be safe not to blow the aty and than the taste came back

priming is placing a few drops down the atty tube on the heating element.

Sound more than not it's crappy flavored carts. Ive gotten some that are horrible too.. Seems like suppliers want to dunp things that are horrible in with a kit.. lol

be sure to have extra battys and a cople of extra atomizers at all times so you dont get caught without.. Always have at least 4 of everything is my motto.

Please when you can, jump up to a very good device(PV). you'll never be sorry you did.

Either you have some really bad tasting juice, or you are still smoking the "primer" fluid.
Another possibility is a dry atomizer, although you said it was wet.

How often are you hitting it?
Does it taste bad EVERY time or have you had good hits sometimes?
Does it taste bad like sort of burnt plastic, or does it taste freaking hideous more like burnt metal?

That last question will tell me if it is primer or just a dry atomizer.

I'm not sure what the source of your problems are, maybe it is the primer liquid . I have the 510 and love it. You might have better luck with other liquids. However, mine came with the MLB High carts too and after trying several other liquids, I still think this is one of the best flavors I have used. I would suggest not letting the atty get too hot and to line the carts up with the white ceramic to prevent melting. Good luck!

OK, I'm in Antigo, but often in Milwaukee.

I have a 510, as well. DON'T chuck it until you get your e-liquid!!

Once you answer some of the other questions, we may be able to help. The burnt plastic taste is different than the burnt metal taste.

When you first get an atty, it has some kind of foul tasting liquid coating that you have to either rinse off or burn off with use.

DON'T think that that is what you have to always suffer through!! Once you figure out the problem, you'll enjoy them much better!

Could be:

1. Atomizer primer fluid that will go away once you "season" it with repreated use of e-liquid
2. Bad/low quality e-liquid (Kit carts aren't known for their quality)
3. Dry atomizer
4. Bad atomizer

Either way, it's fixable. Trust me, if the foul flavor was always there, none of us would still be vaping!!

I can highly recommend Nhaler.com's High Voltage liquids!!

Ex-cheesehead* here, your problem is probably the crappy "default" juice they load the carts with if you don't specify a flavor (or if they don't offer flavors). Mine also said "Marlboro" (what "MLB" stands for, I'm guessing), but it didn't taste like any kind of tobacco I've ever smoked. Wait until your real juice comes before making any judgments about how well you like e-cigs.

But as for those crappy carts -- vape 'em if you got 'em. Not only will you help empty them out so they'll take juice when you get it (for best results, take out the filling, rinse and dry it, and put it back in), but you'll also get practice vaping, dealing with attys and such for when you really begin your life as a vaper.

*(Born in Milwaukee, grew up in the 'burbs, went to high school in Sheboygan County and college in Madison.)
