Just wondering if anyone was on Weight Watchers and wanted to share meal ideas. I've been on it a little over a month and have lost 15 pounds, but I'm getting bored with my cooking. I just cook for myself so the last thing I want to do is make some complicated recipe. I know me and I know I won't stick with it unless it's easy.

Congratulations GoodDog on your weight loss!! It's been years since I was on WW, I should get back on it because it does work!

WW is such a good, healthy way of eating and as I get older it's easy to put on a few pounds here and there. They add up fast and I refuse to buy larger clothes! I always loose fast the first month and then it slows down so I need to keep it from getting boring so I can fit in my summer clothes. :p

vaping German Chocolate Cake and Dulce De Leche sure help with the sweet cravings! I think that's why I was able to lose so much in a month. I love sweets! :hubba:

My daughter was on it & I helped her with the points. Here is a recipe for scalloped corn that is really good.
5 servings - 2.448 points per serving
Scalloped Corn & Broccoli Casserole
1 (15oz.) can cream style corn 1 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup shredded cheese
(your choice) I use
Monterey jack.
2 T. sugar(I use splenda) 1/2 pkg frozen chopped
broccoli
2 T. flour
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Mix together corn, eggs, sugar, flour & salt. Add the cheese & broccoli, mix well & pour into a 2 quart casserole dish.
3. Bake for 1 hr. delicious!
This just does not go far enough, I double recipe & use a 9x13 pan & its great.
Sometimes I make 2 pans this way for the next day or leftovers-lol.
Hope you enjoy!

FYI... I lost so much weight the first month because mostly all I ate was homemade vegetable soup. Every morning I would make a big pot with Swanson's Chicken broth and different vegetables depending on what I had and what I felt like eating that day. I would eat all day on that and it was 0 points. Some days I would add chicken or noodles and that would only add a couple of points.

I really like the Yves Meatless Ground and have made several recipes using that. I heard Ellen talk about it and I like it better than ground beef. I add salsa and black beans and put that in a whole wheat tortilla or add some cumin and canned tomatoes for chili. I've also used it in scrambled egg whites for breakfast.

I want to lose weight faster than I would if I stuck strictly with WW so I don't ever use all the points I'm allowed. I just need to be careful not to get anemic but I eat a lot of fresh spinach and doesn't that contain iron?

I was on WW several months back and lost 40 lbs. I didn't pay anything and didn't attend any meeting. I got a receipe book and just went by points. Ever 50 calories is 1 point. I just looked on whatever I was going to eat and figured out how many points it had. When I reached my points for the day I was through.

It is a very easy diet to follow and most everybody will lose weight.
