Thought I'd reach out to the gaming community and see if anyone else here is Playing Rift?

I've been playing LoTRO since 2007 and I think the only new one I want to try is Guild Wars 2 ( when it comes out). Do you like "Rift"? Does it have a good community?
Hubby and I played wow for a few years. He started playing Rift about 5 days before it went live. He likes it, but he's doesn't notice the community very much, just plays. It seems to be trying really hard to be warcraft. If you've played wow, you'll know just how to play Rift. Even a lot of the hot keys are the same, lol.

Haven't logged onto my WoW account since day 1 of RIFT. The above is true, it is a lot like WoW but the rift events bring players together at random to defeat the rifts and that is cool. Lots of the players are obviously from WoW and you can tell. All in all it is a good game and offers a lot of choice in character creation, you are not tied to the perfect build because no one has theory crafted it out yet, and with three souls per toon, there are too many good builds available. I'm on the Deepwood shard (Defiant) pm me if you start up a toon.
After the first couple times a rift event opened over my head and kilt me dead, I got a little tired of Rift. I'm lazy like that. But oddly enough, talking about these games makes me want to dig out the guild wars disc again, LOL
two games behind on guild wars, so i downloaded the trilogy last night...dang shame i didn't have enough time to play once i got it set up
