Love making mown juice to save money too. So easy and fun to make your own flavors. Just adds a whole new area to the hobby.

Everybody's taste is different.
Sometimes you just need a little more of this or a little less of that. The customer's need that flexibility to add some ketchup and mustard to the mix, otherwise the thing just don't work.

Used to spend $400-$500 in stinkies between my wife and I per month, now about $35-40 per month for juice and coils. Hell yes we are saving money, tons of it.

THAT's what I want to see more of; It CAN be done and it IS being done; you're supposed to end up spendling like 10% per month what you used to spend on cigarettes.

Between my boyfriend and I we have spent way more in the past month on e cig supplies than we would have spent on cigarettes. I could have played it slow, but I like to dive right in. Now it's becoming a hobby (looking forward to DIY juice, rebuilding, etc), so I can't complain. I am just glad to be done buying packs of Camels and that my boyfriend is on his way to the same thing. And I anticipate the spending to drop off drastically once we have setups and juices we are happy with.

Glad to see that for some it's not just a theory. I guess I can "write off" my added expense as entertainment as I do so enjoy a new toy here and there. Or I could say that I am just borrowing now from the healthcare savings down the road.

So i quit cigs for two reasons, One: Save some money! Two: Get healthier...

So far i have acheived one of those two goals.. Im definately getting healthier. As far as saving money goes, if you look at the numbers you should theoretically save money.. But everytime i get a little cash.. Its off to the local B&M for some UPGRADES! Im not complaining, i LOVE vaping. Definately my new hobby.

Whats your guys's thoughts?

It's my second day using my MVP 2. As going for saving money I believe I will. I'm not going to go full out and make a hobby out of vaping (although there's nothing wrong with doing so). But I'm just going to be very basic about vaping, only buying replacement pieces and e-liquid that's it.

I plan to keep my objectives in mind (save money, and be healthier).

I, too, am just getting started. So far I have purchased two batteries (one variable voltage, which, BTW, I love) two clearomizers (one actually came with the first atty kit) and three juices. So far I am able even for what I was spending on cigs and cigars considering the time period. Hopefully, once I find the juices I like I will be savings some $.
The wife returns home at the end of the month. She smokes about PAD so I plan to get the equipment she wants. Then we should be savings some money....

I spent a lot of money at the beginning. It was 2010 and all that was available were cig-alikes. Spent a TON of money on batteries, atomizers and cartridges. But, even then, I was saving money since analogs are now $9.10 here in France. Last year I got serious and bought a couple of High-end mods and rebuildables. Also started DIY so,yes, NOW I'm saving a fortune.

I am getting close to the saving money place. Pretty much just buying e-juice (but lots of it because it is my favorite part of vaping!) now and replacing anything that needs it. I decided early on that I was permitting myself to spend on vaping in a month what I spent on smoking in a week. I didn't always stick to it, but now I am spending less than what I would have on a week's worth of smokes.

I'm saving money both literally and relatively. I was never a heavy smoker (around 2-3 packs a week) so I'm not saving a ton of money by vaping, but I am saving some for sure.

But to me, the $20 I spend on e-juice or a new tank isn't the same as the $20 I'd spend on a few packs of smokes. The investment in my health and all the positive benefits that come with vaping means you get a lot more for $20 as a vaper than you do as a smoker.

When you consider what you're really buying beyond the tangible product, you're really buying a lot more with your money.
