So i quit cigs for two reasons, One: Save some money! Two: Get healthier...

So far i have acheived one of those two goals.. Im definately getting healthier. As far as saving money goes, if you look at the numbers you should theoretically save money.. But everytime i get a little cash.. Its off to the local B&M for some UPGRADES! Im not complaining, i LOVE vaping. Definately my new hobby.

Whats your guys's thoughts?

same boat been vaping for 7 weeks and keep buying mods and new tanks but now ive got a setup i love should start to save although i have got my eye on a itaste 134 lol

I was buying a carton of cigarettes about 2-3 times a week. I'm saving a lot of money. I usually spend $30 a week now instead of $150. I buy 2-3 bottles of juice and 2-3 heating coils. I spent ~$160 the day I bought all my vaping gear. & haven't smoked a cigarette since. I guess I'm saving a bit. I do order juice online (I'm anxiously waiting for my new ones today !!) & spent $55 this time but I ordered 4 so I think I got a decent deal.

Please tell me all those cigs wasn't just for you!

Think I agree with everyone here. Once you settle in on a setup it will definitely come around for you. I just bought my first mod and, after the initial investment, I am sure that it is going to save me money in the long run. And time.

Biggest thing for me was having to go outside and walk to smoking areas. Or make that 8-10 minute commitment for a cigarette - used to smoke American Spirits. Now I can just take a quick puff here and there and satisfy the craving.

There are some great videos on rebuilding everything on YouTube. I found wicks and kanthal wire for rebuilding my atomizers on Amazon and once I start that my cost is going to go way down.

At first when you are trying out different juices, upgrading, buying more gear etc I think it was about a wash...according to my banner below I would have spent about $1,200 on cigs since I switched. During the first 3 months I cheated a little so that number might be a little off. I'm guessing I've spent about $500 on liquid, batteries, passthrough, VV/VW devices, tanks, cartomizer's, atties, etc, etc.

I could probably get you an exact number if I had my Quicken program in front of me but I'm guessing it's about $500. This sounds like a lot but when you put it into perspective that I would have spent $1,200 on cigs the $500 is a little easier to swallow ;) So if you look at that way I've actually saved about $700.

Also don't forget that every year cigs go up higher and higher in price. Part of it's inflation but the other part is the sin tax they keep adding and adding to all the time. Those banners you see don't include that although I doubt they have gone up much in the past 6 months.

I haven't really been keeping up with the price of my old brand and decided to check...5.50 a pack! I know they are a whole lot more in other states but for me that is really high! Now that I got my set up and I DIY my own juice I spend like 20 bucks a month! Sometimes less.

I have been off cigarettes for about 3 years. When I first started I was spending less for vaping then smoking but then I started getting different flavored juices, I upgraded to joyetech twist bateries in every color then there where the kanger evod & mt3's I got them in all colors. Then I had to get a few protanks, then there was my 1st mod lava tube, 2nd mod svd some skins from jwrap for the lava tube. I find I use my pv's like accesories now.

Been vaping for 2 and a half years. The first year don't think I saved any money but spent a whole bunch of it on mods, juice, etc. After a year I started saving money. Every week I stash away $25 that would have been spent on cigarettes. I let it build up to hundreds and then we take the money to the casino, or take a weekend trip. For me its a freebie, as that money use to get burned up. Now we have fun with it.

Now I spend about $50 a month on juice for my husband and me. We were spending close to $100 a week on smokes so yes the savings is huge when finally stop buying mods. You'll get there one day when the newness wears off.

The first 6 months of vaping I didn't save a penny, but once I found my device and Rebuildables and diy juice, I save a bunch. I am also saving a ton of money not having to treat all the breathing problems (2 different inhalers) and illnesses I had as they have gone away with the smokes, blood pressure is down and did away with that med as well.....save money and save your life!
