I saw Toronto Sun in the title and already shook my head. As bad as alcohol sales seems regulated, no surprise they'd give a clueless opinion towards vaping. When I went up there, it was weird going to Walmart and not seeing beer and wine there like they are in the states. It was a culture shock for my fiance when she came down to see me over Christmas.

I know another place in Canada is trying to ban vaping altogether it seems.

I wonder why they prefer people to smoke cigarettes? Could it be because the Canadian government charges 20 cents per cigarette before normal sales taxes are added to a pack of cigarettes? Thats $5 directly to the government to which they apply the standard sales tax so they get even more. If 20% of canadians are smokers (last i checked it was about that) and there are 35 million canadians thats about 7 million people giving the government 20 cents every time they light up. Its nowhere near that much for me to fire up my mech!

Im not quite that prepared! I have plenty of tanks/mods/attys/building accessories but i will always need more batteries...wont someone please think of the batteries!?!?!?!

Plus juice but once i start DIY im good.

Get a true mech mod a Dimitri is easy even I can use and maintain one and stock up on nic and your set for a good few years of governmental idiocy no need to stock up on wire, wick, PG, VG, battery's or flavours as they all have many other non vaping uses and are too much trouble to limit nic and vaping hardware is where the hammer will fall.

Not at all. Our govment is nothing short of a House of Ill Repute that will do anything for money (read Tobacco Taxes).
