anyone try 510 cartomizers?

I ordered some i guess ill see what there like on Saturday...along with a manaul battery.

Btw on the manual batter does is work in the PCC, i just want to double check or im going to haft to dig out my wall charger...wherever it is....

Got my order of 510 and KR808D-1 Cartos yesterday and started playing with them last night. I used the condom/spin method for filling and it worked very well.

One question though: Does anyone else get a "bacon sizzle" noise with the 510 cartos? Just wondering....

Wow i haft to say these are pretty awesome. I like them alot, i still havent chunked my orignal one, i top it off every so often.

Ive used it with both the manaul and auto battery (didnt fill it on auto, used manual after i filled it) and it vaped better on the auto than my regular seperate system.

But my manual batter (that i just got) made the regular system and the new cartomizer totally awesome. This is the vape id been searching for.

I hit the button, wait a brief moment, then hit it and release, it seems to start vaping sooner than the auto does.

You'll be seeing 3 boges, a manual batt and a passtrhough out of me this week.

Snap, crackle, pop!

They vape very well at 5v. Just have to keep 'em really wet to avoid burning issues.

I remove the white cap and toss it and use a drip tip. A cut down 901 tip works also.

For the Taryn spin, I cut about half the finger off of a leather glove, poked a small hole near the cut end and ran a heavy piece of speaker wire through it, leaving about 14" to spin with. Some strong string would work as well.

This applies a LOT of centrifugal force - amazing how much liquid these things will hold. For me this is a lot quicker and cleaner than the condom method, plus I can see what I'm doing. Pop the drip tip off, put plug and condom on batt end, drip/spin, drip/spin and I'm good to go.

the Snap Crackle Pop you hear is a good thing. means the cartomizers are working at peak performance. I love these things. been using cartos for quite some time but these are the best cartos and most likely will replace my KR808.
I had to check mine with a multimeter last nite and see what the ohms were being so much vapor and it said 3.2 3.3. is that correct Rob
well done on getting these cartos on your specs man. make sure they do not change anything as they are perfect. Yep thank you for getting these. we do not want the Chinese to change specs on these babys love them just the way they are.

Just got my 510 carto's in today. Super fast service, thank you! Popped on here to ask about the crackle sizzle myself, seems to be alot more than with a regular carto. Glad to know it is normal. It is pretty dang effortless...I am working on comparing how long I can go without a refill comparted to the 801 carto's I've been using. So far, so excellent.

Hmmm. I cannot figure out how to get these things onto the GGTS. I took the kr808 end off and I see that the pin in the middle won't fit into the 501 carto. What am I missing?

Hey critter, if I am understanding your question properly, if you take an 808 carto off, you also need to remove the adapter from the GGTS. Once the adapter is off, pull the center pin back in. Look on the inside of the top cap and grab that round flat disk and pull it. That will move the center pin back in. You should do this anytime you change types of cartos/atty's. Put the 510 carto on, then push the center pin back in until it contacts the 510.

If that's not what you meant, my apologies.

Hey SR219, thanks! That was exactly what I needed to do. And I am now vaping the 510 cartos for the first time. I'm digging it. Lots of vapor. Good pop snackle crock. I don't know if this is better than the kr808 cartos because it is newer than all the kr8 cartos I use (which are probably on their 10th refill by now), but it is more vaporful with the same juice. I'll have to see if it's still so vaporous on its 10th go round. Nice!

My review: just filled my first one and vaping it on my GLV 5Volt, and it's great. I put in 30 drops. Then had 3 puffs, and tasted a little burnt taste. So I opened it up, added 6 more drops, put it in a narrow bag a battery came in and spun it to help the juice settle to the bottom, and tried it again. It tastes even better now. I am going to be so thrilled if these hold out as long as I think they will. So far, great. Look good on my GLV too!

hey Rags enjoy the cartos. ive been using cartos for quite some time. matter of fact i use everything anyway heres what ya do. you already filled it with 30 drops. so dont wait til its empty to fill it. after a while all acording to how much you vape you will want to top off with maybe 8 to 12 drops so make sure you figure to yourself ok about now. use your judgement. then you top off and you keep doing that instead of letting it go empty. doing it this way they will last lot longer and you wont taste the burncause when the filler gets dry then tahst where the burn starts and that ruins it. i have cartos i used over 30 times. But of couurse some just dont last more than 5 times. all acording. but most will last youy if you take care of it. as far as cleaning about on the 5th refill thats when you want to vape it down but not to empty. blow the rest out then fill with hot water and keep blowing it out till you see the filler nice and white. make sure you blow it out and get out as much water as you can. i let it sit overnite but some dont. in the morn i will start filling again.
How i fill them is i add 10 drops thruy the top then do the taryn spin then add another 10 drops spin again add 10 more drops then spin again. the spin makes it distribute evenly and makes the fluid move down. when your filling and spoinning dont forget to put the cap back on the botto. thats all there is to it. now vape away

How do I know how much liquid it will take and how will I know when I'm getting low after vaping. So far, this cart has held me through about nine hours!

I just received some 510 pre-filled carto's. The shipping was super fast, thanks. I have one problem though. I read that the empty 510 carto's had the soft end cap and assumed that the pre-filled ones did as well. Unfortunately they have the hard to remove hard cap. That's too bad. I prefer buying the pre-filled ones and then refilling after but the hard cap are a pain so hopefully all carto's will be made with soft caps some day.

We got the prefilled carto's at the same time we received the first batch of blanks that had the hard cap. We ran out of the first batch of blanks before the prefilled carto's. So when we ordered the next batch of blanks we were able to get the soft caps. We will be ordering the next batch of prefilled with the same soft cap as the blanks.
