I tried it, and was not happy with the results. Average to below average performance in terms of wicking (I usually vape 60 to 70% VG) and the flavor seemed "off." For me, I'd rate the performance as below braided silica and way below cotton in a microcoil (my favorite build for the Protank).

I tried 3 or 4 builds at various resistance but none were good enough to warrant continuing to experiment with it.

Ready-X-Wick will work fine in a Protank, actually better than the silica it comes with by a large margin. The only thing to be aware of is
Ready-X-Wick is hollow. You have to be careful not to wrap your coils too tight or you will choke the wick. I have used both sizes but prefer the Slim as it just seems easier to work with. Best of luck on your builds.

I have been using Readyxwick in my aerotank for the past few days now. It has been performing extremely well. I was using cotton before with no issues and I find that the readyxwick performs about the same but I much prefer building with the ceramic wick. Just set it up once and dry burn when performance drops. Going to see how long I can run this setup before the wick gives out.

BTW the build I use is a 1.4ohm microcoil that I thread the readyxwick into. I hear wrapping coils directly on the wick can give less than stellar results. It is so easy with the microcoil, I would give that a shot first.
