Wait until the joyetech Supreme comes out. Joyetech Joye eVic supreme Kit

As for the Evic; I have one and has been good to me since I got it (first release back in late 2012). Great because it's a vv and vw device. Large screen to see everything. Ego and 510 threading. Shows puffs left from battery charge, shows % of battery left, and lots of customization that can be done. Does what it's supposed to do.

Bad things about the evic is that it's not a durable device. As in, you can't expect it to live if you drop it. It's a little mini computer. Maximum limits is 11 watts or 5 volts whichever hits the amp limit first. 510 threading isn't as durable either - it will strip with use, in time (my 510 threading is stripped at the top and can only catch a few turns at the bottom).

I have a couple of evics in my collection (1 long 1 short) and enjoy the info I can retrieve from them. Both have been great devices so far.

With that being said, ImThatGuy's comments are dead on although I have not had any thread stripping issues as of yet. (I am careful when changing up tanks, keep my threads clean and lubed and always spin the unit to the tank until just snug)

With that being said, I am sure of pulling the trigger on the Supreme when it hits the market.

Never tried the easy head. The ECA was a disaster though. The look was amazing but the function was pretty lackluster.
Some are saying that the original evic tubes will work with it, but after holding the new tube, you won't want to use the old one. And the top cap for the old evic head does not fit on this for me. It's solid. Good threads. And the 360 wheel is a definite page turner.
…still charging. Sigh.

pros? cons? thoughts? was thinking of getting this unit

Pros:

Supports a 3400 mah battery
Pass through charging
Not stuck with a built in battery
If usb port breaks, you can use an external battery charger

Cons:

Ohm reader isn't accurate (if you care)
More electronics (more to go wrong) More delicate if dropped
Control head replacement is very expensive and may not be available soon since there is an upgraded version
The top cap where your atty is attached to is tapered, which makes larger tanks look off on it.
The turning dial gets stuck at times, changing settings
