Thank you guys for your input. I was just watching some reviews of the Titan 510. Seems pretty nice to me. I understand there's a bit less battery than you get with the eGo, but it's also slimmer. I'll just pick up a PCC and maybe a third battery if I go with the Titan. I'll probably do what some of you suggested and try atleast a couple sample packs of the juice.

There's quite a bit more than a bit less battery life on the 510. I get an hour and a half out of a 510 battery. I get 8 out of an eGo.

And if you're ok sacrificing that for a slimmer form factor, go for it, but make sure you have extras. For me, a 510 battery *barely* charges fast enough to finish by the time I kill the next one. But I vape fairly heavily, so your mileage may vary.

In terms of what advantages atomizers have, well, some of it is subjective. Some find they taste better than cartomizers. Others think cartomizers taste better. I like both.

Atomizers give more vapor than cartomizers. Pretty much everyone agrees on that. I seem to be able to get a lot more vapor out of my cartomizers than most, but atomizers still usually give more.

Cartomizers tend to give me more throat hit. Again, there is some disagreement on this, but I think a lot of people find that.

Cartomizers *generally and in my experience* don't last as long as atomizers. But this is also subjective. Most people get 6 or 7 uses out of a carto before it tastes weird. Some people wash them and have great results at getting them to last longer. But I never did. For me, 6 or 7 refills was it, because they never came out performing well after a wash. That was just my luck with it. It's also a lot of trouble to go to.

Atomizers last a lot longer for me. I have some that are nearly 4 months old and still kickin' out the vapor, with regular cleaning (which is less work and time than with cartomizers). But, others have less luck. Some people can only get them to last a couple weeks no matter what they do.

Cartomizers are much less expensive than atomizers, but if a carto is only lasting me 6 or 7 refills, and atties are lasting for months, it's cheaper for me to get atomizers.

If your luck is different, that may change the cost/benefit for you.

My advice? Try both.

If you get a Kr808, get a 901 atomizer as well. They will work on your Kr808 batteries with no need for an adapter.

If you get a 510 or an eGo, get some 510 cartomizers.

Weirdly, the luck people have with them does seem to be really individual and there's no hard rules about it.

I have to agree with the eGo'ers ;o) I've bought 2 full kits, a PT and just tonight received my first eGo 900mah battery. Yes, I have SIX batteries I can 'cycle' thru now (aka 6 flavors at any given moment) and the batteries have probably not even come close to being run down by the time I would get home to charge them. Yet, I still feel the urgent need to carry some of the usb fast charge cables with me in my purse LoL.

I got most of my hardware at excellent prices at Liberty-Flights.com (click the 20% link in the upper left, to see the discount pricing). The eGo kit is $51.96 - 2 batts, 2 attys/carts2, 2 cones, usb charger, wall adapter... 2 full e-cigs basically. Along with my first order, I ordered a drip tip, 5pack of XL carts, 3pack XL attys and a 5pack of XL cartos. The XL attys/carts & cartos for the eGo are fatter like the battery, and hold about 2ml of juice (compared to about .9 for the regular cart/carto). I enjoy the ease of fillin' about 4 of these XL cartos - and definitely am covered for the day, with a variety of flavors!

Whichever way you go, I wish you the best! Do let us know what you get, and how it works out for ya!

Well, I just ordered an eGo from liberty-flights. Figured with all the high praise you guys gave it, maybe I should give it a try. I kept the order simple, though. Just the stainless steel start-up kit that was on sale, 5 empty cartridges and a bottle of the 30ml strawberry e-juice in 24mg. If I fall in love with it once I get it, I'll tack on some XL atomizers and carts along with more juice and a must-have PCC :p

I'll for sure post my initial thoughts, though! My Marlboro reds are tasting like crap right now anticipating getting this kit!

I'm not sure you'll need a PCC with the ego, might be better to invest in another battery. You'll find out when you start vaping. Good luck and enjoy.

Here's hoping you do like it as much as the rest of us! Definitely nothing to not like about the battery life, even for the base 650mah starter kits. Of course, almost minutes after receiving my first one - I was on L-F catching their special ECF deal for 39.99. Keep an eye on that one, he seems to toss a few in there quietly every so often! Hard to beat at that price. Got my PT along with the initial order, and haven't had to rely on it (ha! with 4 battys? what, me worry?). Yesterday's USPS delivery included my first 900mah batty!

Put out my last cig just before midnight tonight... let the official counters begin!

I personally prefer dripping, I tend to change flavors frequently through the day and I feel I get the most vapor this way. Vapor has always been my main concern, don't really care too much about the TH.

And, yes, a higher voltage produces more vapor, from my personal experience. But, to increase the voltage, you have to go to a mod (unless there is one I'm missing?) That is where I am now, I have a 3.7v mod and a 5v mod. If you aren't ready to get into that, try an LR atty. That will give you most of the feel of 5v on a 3.7v PV.

I agree with the eGo suggestion as a first PV. That's what I got and I'm very happy with it. Later on I won a regular 510 kit and am so glad I didn't get this first. I probably would have been frustrated with the vaping experience when switch from analogs had I needed to change batteries every few hours. The eGo batteries last me all day and I vape all day long!

You'll be happy with the eGo...congrats on your purchase!
