Hey Ben,

about your question I do drink more since I vape!!! Now and then a glass of water interrupts my beer routine... Blachhh... disgusting....:D

Really now: I noticed that i drink more than i was before vaping.

On the other topic i do enjoy champagne in bed at breakfast , sadly I get it only on my birthday, so no judging from me.

And now let me hit the shower...:toast:

You drink a beer in the shower? ... Um I only vape when I drink (alcohol, which isn't too often) or if I am doing a task for work which requires critical thinking (visualize sherlock holmes and his pipe). I think when and how you start vaping has to do more with the habit/behavioral aspects of addiction, thus making the experience different for everyone.

in the past 36 hr period i have worked 18.5 hrs (and i got to go home early!). i specifically postponed my daily shower this afternoon just so i could enjoy a cooler in the shower later tonight. :) just putting it out there for those that love the cold booze beverage in the shower ritual.
ps. i'm allergic to barley (not gluten), so no beer for me.

Erictho: Have you tried rice beer? It's really good. :)

I have to say, some of the responses on this thread really rub me the wrong way. The OP asked a question, as many of us do. He just wanted an answer, not to be judged. I haven't counted, but I would guess at least a quarter of the responses were along the lines of "you have a problem" with a few "don't be so ungrateful"s thrown in.

As indicated by the original post, he quit his job due to stress/unhappiness, and the negative responses probably aren't helping. I think it took a lot of courage to post the question, and if I got the responses he did, I'd probably delete my account. I'd like to reiterate, the habit stated is one beer in the shower, and "alot" in the subject. A lot is subjective, of course.

I drink a fair amount myself, yet I am still a functional alcoholic, in the sense that I have a loving relationship, never drive drunk, and am always fantastic at my job. I'll probably get help if needed at some point since it's not healthy, but in the meantime, I already know if I'll have to do that without being told by members of this forum.

We ALL have a problem - that's why we're here. Don't call the kettle black, OK?

PS. When are they going to come out with E-Beer? :)

Actually "As indicated by the original post, he quit his job due to stress/unhappiness" was what cought my attention. Oh how I remember that feeling back in the days that denial was just a river in Egypt. Those feelings of restlessness, irritability, and discontent were perfectly normal for me back then.
