Because they Always seem to be Out Of Stock, I wanted to compare them before buying a new device, the Provari is Better-Looking anyway & suits my needs. I bought a VAMO previously to check out the VW craze, I found myself using the VV option more than VW, so I sold it. I think VW should be adjustable in .2 increments, sometimes that's all I need between juices, I found the .5 to be a big change which is why I prefer VV.

The Darwin is adjustable in 0.1 watt increments from 4.2 to 12.7

It is a done deal, ProVari it is, ordered it today. Now I just need to figure out the delivery system (still a bit confusing) and the juice.
Congratulations!! I just received my mini last Friday, and it is WONDERFUL!!

All the questions you had were the same questions I had. I was also interested it trying some different delivery devices too, so if you're open for more suggestions, here are mine.

Try the Kanger Protank and a box of (5) replacement heads - I bought mine from Sun-Vapors.

I was also interested in dripping, because I recently bought DIY e-liquid supplies.
After watching a Phil Busardo review, I bought the Cisco SR306 2.5 atomizer from Avid Vapor. Right now they have a 2 for sale that includes a drip tip...I went with the XL size, but that's just me....it wasn't the one he'd actually reviewed, but it was on sale....gotta luv a sale.
If you get one, the atomizers come with a black plastic sleeve covering them (I'm guessing that's what it is)...anyway pull that off of the atomizer.....(just remember that).....LOL....nuff said....I'm a noob and had no idea how it was supposed to work.....until I headed back to Phil's video....anyway, it works great and tastes great!! I cannot speak to better than, less or more expensive than, only that I wanted to drip, and I was tired of looking....it's a start.....:p

Again, congratulations!! You'll love it!!! You've also found the right place for answers, these people are AWESOME!!!

I hope so, thanks!

Would you recommend getting ProVape's eGo adapter or from some other place?

Finding e-liquids that you will like will be as challenging as the right delivery device. Individual flavors and favorite vendors will both be highly subjective. Personally, after a year of vaping, I've found what I prefer. I've found that those juice vendors that use only all-organic, all-natural flavorings are best. You'll pay a little more than average prices for them, but I feel they are worth it in the long run. I've spent far too much trying to find cheaper vendors, and its just not worth it.

Dripeez: https://natural-eliquid.com/store/index.php

Virgin Vapors and Vaperite also sell all-natural, all-organic flavored e-liquids, also recommended.

I also happened to think that organic/all natural is the way to go, but I would assume that the selection is rather limited. Have you tried anything from this thread? Anything worth trying, in your opinion?

Thanks; congratulations to you, too!

I wonder if it would be cheaper and simpler to use this tank for sampling different brands/flavors instead of dripping. It is not a cartotank, it is a tank with a bottom coil, right?

Do you guys think it is a good idea to use the Kanger Protank to sample different flavors instead of dripping? Can I just put a little in it instead of filling the whole tank? If I do not like it, I can just wash it and try a different brand/flavor. Can it be easily washed with water?

Thanks.

If your using kanger tanks the ego adapter will not work. I got one and none of my 29 work with it. I tried all of them big let down. But if your using none kanger tanks sure. I bought one from vapor kings that works well.
One thing that might clear up this mess and confusion. When did you buy your adapter? Mine works, but I bought two of mine in January and another in March. The reviews I've seen saying they don't work were from quite some time ago. Those reviews stated that the thread pitch was wrong, and newer reviews state that the problem has been fixed.

Yes, it's a tank with a bottom coil, it can be easily washed, and I think you could use it instead, if you don't want to get both, but maybe some of the others will suggest better info regarding that.
The nice thing about a dripping atomizer is you only need about 3 drops.

You do not need an ego adapter to use the Kanger Protank, or the dripping atty I chose, they're both 510 threaded.

The interesting thing (to me) is that the juices taste a little different in all the devices I've tried....so far, I've tried 4 different styles of devices. (Really I'm a total novice at this and prob should have stayed quiet....LOL....:p )

I did get the ego/510 adapter from ProVape, it seems to be a quality adapter. The threading is smooth and it has a nicer finish than the first one I bought elsewhere. It fits the T3 bottom coil - ego style - clearomizer that I purchased from Apollo, I can't say for sure if it is a Kanger product, it's listed as "Apollo's T3 Bottom Coil Clearomizer", again...ego style.

For some, yes; others, no. Simple.

Was there anything better than Marlboro?

Hello, I am new to vaping, but I leaning toward skipping all the usual steps and going for the ProVari, but the question is - is there anything better than ProVari out there? Also, what are the limitations of ProVari - does it have any? - in terms of what can be used with it, cartomizers, tanks, etc. Thanks.

Hahahaha! They got you too, eh? The folks on this forum should be salespersons for this company ;) Woot! The basic consensus is that the ProTank will work with it. I hope so because that's my favorite right now. I figure if something I want to use won't fit, then I'll figure it out - we have a few vape shops around town.

So if I buy it today, it should be fine, right. Can someone else who has purchased it recently please confirm that ProVape's eGO adapter works with Kanger? Thanks.

Hmmm... maybe you need to stop stating this as fact...

maybe say, "If you get OLD Kanger tanks, they MAY NOT work"

Because, it's been pretty well covered in this thread that MOST work, however there were some bad ones made.

I bought my first week of April this year and mine does not work. All the replacement heads I bought at the end of march this year do not work as well. I would if your set on buying it get it at your own risk but buy another one from a different site just to be safe.

Wait... replacement heads?

like the internal part of the Kanger doesn't work?

It really sounds like you got a band batch of Kangers... maybe old stock.

Also 2 reviews say it does not work one from jan this year and one from April this year. So it's not just me.

Its not just you.... but there are a lot more people saying they do work, than don't.... so I think maybe, just maybe you should consider that it is in fact a bad batch.

Dan - I was confused about the 510/ego threading until my husband showed me. LOL. I think I figured it out (well, how my screwed up brain works anyway).

If you look at an ego battery, there's two threadings. The larger one I think of "ego" and that's where the Stardust type screw on. That's the ego threading. The one on the top - inside - is 510 and the ProTank will screw into there. Not required, but you can use the collar to screw onto the ego threading to cover it up and make it look pretty when you use the 510 threading.

How *I* think of it to keep it straight in my head is that the 510 threading takes a "male" clearo and the ego threading takes a "female" clearo.

If my thinking is correct, the Provari won't need an adapter to work with the ProTanks because the Provari shows it has 510 threading and the ProTank is a 510 threaded tank.

BUT if you want to use a female ego clearo, you'll need an adapter. I'm starting to REALLY like the ProTanks, so... yeah. I do use the collar on my ego batteries with it, just cuz it's prettier, but it works fine without it.

At least that's how I think it seems to work. LOL!

Correct. You do NOT need an adaptor for the Protank. Just thread it on and start vaping.:)

At first it seemed as if dripping is the way to go to try different juices, but after reading a little about it, I am not so sure. First of all, some say that it takes a while for a flavor to burn off, especially if it contains menthol or some other strong flavor. Second, they seem to be a little high maintenance, they need to be kept lubricated at all times and some models need to be broken-in. What do you use to try different juices?
