Why does the Provari hit differently than the eVic?

Hence a multi-meter. I use AW batteries, not Trustfires, never heard of them melting of blowing up.

More often than not the Provari, based on numerous posts throughout this forum has failed to register impedance under 1.2 ohms. Neither does mine, neither does the eVic, making these devices next to useless to oxidize lower-ohmed Gennys. In such instances all you have left is your multi-meter and a mechanical mod.

Ok I'm a late arrival to this thread. The title and first page said enough that I didn't want to read anymore.
THIS IS JUST MY HONEST OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I own 3 Provari's, and have just received and started using a Legacy standard and also got the parts to build a Legacy mini. I went to work today with 2 Provari's and two Legacy's. The standard Legacy had a kick in it so I cheated. (shame on me for wanting something I got). I only do certain flavors at certain ohms and voltage.) After I finally! figured out what I needed to put on the straight mechanical Legacy I was amazed at the performance it provided. Will I stop using my Provari's HECK NO I WON'T. Every mod has it's place in the vape world. I've got more than I know what to do with. I've got a couple that are still in the box. Will I part with them? Depends on the persons needs at the time. I've got vamo's, Tesla'a Itastevv, lots of different ones. 33 or 37 htz firing is a lot different than 800htz firing according to the Provari vs Vamo on the scope video that was posted earlier. It shows it in a picture that even these old eyes can grasp.

I offically call a time out for the bickering over one device over another. Please folks. Brothers and Sisters that vape. We all enjoy different things. The flavors I love to vape are hated by those that I work with. The flavors they all like and enjoy, well I don't care for em.
To each their own. RANT ON BUT VAPE ON.:vapor:

I prefer not to use sub- 1.0 ohm coils, so the Provari works fine for my needs.

I only use AW imr batteries now, myself.

Have a good vape. :vapor:

Baditude...while I'm prob more on your side of the fence with vape preference, Provari and a 1.5 Ohm coil, sit back and have nice relaxing vape. I do think there are advantages to setting up a coil on both devices. On a mech(use MNKE batts, check the C rating compared to AW and u'll think its a misprint!) the change of failure is minimal, and you'd feel the button, mod heating up...that a sign to stop because initial setup is wrong. But if u just start with really quick pulses, the hotspots work themselves out. I didn't think it'd work either til I tried it. And figuring the battery would be stressed from all those shorts, I measured it before/after...7.45 to 7.41 after, even more surprising.

Why do this if its 1.5 ohm and I'm going to throw it on my provari? Well now I know I can crank Provari up to 15 watts with no coil probs/hotspots, IF I wanted to. I'm not disputing your concerns, or taking trying to change your mind, as I was paranoid safe when I first tried this, all I'm saying is that it can get an amazing setup without as much of the E1 errors, especially if u want to move from oxidizing wicks. Of course after a while most get to the point where we can wrap a coil blindfolded.

Do I like .8ohm vape...eh, there's a time for it...similar to how we change flavors throughout the day. As I said, I prefer the Provari and 1.5ohm, but at same time realize that a mech can help! Happy vaping!
