Yep, you will have it figured out in mere minutes. I'm still glad I went with the provari early on. While I own other mods and still occasionally pick up another, its the provari I carry 99% of the time. Plus now I spend all my time (and money;) figuring out what to put on my battery. Now that the battery part is basically a done deal, I actually never really give it any thought - lots more time to play with builds, coils, clearos, cartos, rba's, genny's, and all the other wonderful things that make vapor:).

Having said that, just because my search ended there, there are many people who swear by all mechanical mods. There are also admittedly some drop dead beautiful devices out there. And many that do specific things in superior ways. But if you are really going to go down the road of owning lots of various beautiful mods, you're going to spend a small fortune. Might as well own a provari too:) the best thing about mine is that I rarely give it a thought, its just always there. Two years on and it still does the same thing it did on day one- fires every single time I press the button, without fail! I'm able to completely take it for granted and that's worth every penny.

I've seen the occasional, person underwhelmed by the provari, even fewer that regret getting one. Even so, anyone unhappy with their purchase will never have any trouble selling one if its not for them. They hold their value so well that if you wanted to sell it, you'd barely have to pay a rental fee;)

Hawk sauce from mt baker followed by apple rings from mt baker. Now I'm rotating in hanky panky from marble Vally vapor. In the last week mostly hawk sauce. Might add krankberry and unicorn blood from fuzion but even with extra flavor added they were weak. Not writing them off until they steep for a week.

Provari has the highest quality machine specs on all their products. Even the tiniest little scratch or Nick in the product and it is considered a blem. Most of the time, a blem cant be found by someone not looking very closely at the unit. Provape is awesome!!!!

Most of their other flavors yes that one no.

Where would one buy a used ProVari? I do not see any on Ebay. I would like to get a second one as a backup, but if it is in a good shape, I do not mind getting a used one as a second unit.

Look in the forum classifieds. Also, check Provape's site for "Blemish" sales. You can find decent prices for a new one that they consider blemished or scratched, but most likely it will be hard to spot any imperfection whatsoever. Might as well check the source if you are up for a used one. Still warrantied and basically brand new....

Isnt the smok octopus rda kinda like the igo? Its pretty cheap too. But not as nice looking and probably not nearly as quality. But maybe a good jumping off point?

Can't comment on the Igo but the Octopus is very easy to rebuild and delivers a very good vape imho.

Well, since I am new to vaping, I probably do not know what I want, but do know that I like quality products that are reliable, flexible and easy to use. I would like to be able to try different juices (pre-filled cartos and the other kind), clearmizers, tanks, etc.

I does not seem to make a lot of sense to spend $50 for a starter kit, then $80 or so for something else incrementally better and only then something in the price range of ProVari. It seems to make sense to just go for ProVari's price range from the beginning. I obiosly have not used ProVari, but I have watched a lot of reviews. From what I can tell, one thing that I personally do not like is one button and all that clicking to get to different functions. It seems two or three buttons would make it a lot easier to use different functions, but I like the minimalistic-polished-Apple-like design.

Question: Apart from esthetics, does the converter diminish its performance in any way?

I got the Provari a couple of months into vaping, even though I had a Vamo. I like the one year warranty and bought the additional warranty for a total of 2 years. However, aside from it's clean and elegant look, and it's smaller than the Vamo even with the extended battery cap, I don't like the one button feature. I'll be vaping along and then notice that after I've hit the button 5 times, it's increasing the voltage every time. Then I have to reset it. With the Vamo, I don't have that problem. Also, Provari doesn't recommend using low resistance cartos/clearos. For me, I guess it was more of a status thing, but I still use it at home after investing $200 in it lol!

I bought the revolver for $100 and does everything the provari does it comes with a one year warranty and a cool chrome magnum tank. I've had it for about 8 months and hasn't failed me yet. on a side note does any body make a electronic hooka that you plug in im thinking like a home use only ecig that never needs charging or refilling just screw in a new bottle of eliquid and puff away maybe like 3 bottles different flavors and you push a button to change flavors that would be cool.

That would be epic.

Bought the provari and initially felt like it was the last purchase for me but then I got into working with mechanical mods and rebuildable atomizers...I got myself a Gus G22 & an Atmizoo Dingo attached to an RSST and a GG Ithaka respectively. I will say if you go into RBA's, it'll get quite expensive.
