There is no reason why you can't use vertical coils or cotton wicking. I just prefer this way for simplicity.

HealthCabin have the Aerotank mega on clearance for $5.00
All the parts except for the chimney are the same as the Cerotank so if you want SS sleeves spare glass base and too then these are a great set to get
kangertech aerotank mega glass clearomizer with upgraded bottom dual coils(adjustable airflow tank system)
My cerotanks (one with the Aerotank SS sleeve from the HC clearance)

I just *love* that term: Vapocalypse -- it's so apropos for our situation. Yes, a backup plan is good - mine is to just slowly run out of my vaping supplies and NEVER support Big Baccy or Big Pharma again. I will die a sad, cloudless death, I guess.
I cannot even imagine trying to rebuild something so tiny... it will be interesting to see a tut on that.

Ok, a whole bunch of no PC here so, do not read this if you are pro Baccy, druggie or political...........I will never quit blowing clouds been saving my dead coils, building stock,( have 700 BVC coils, about 3 gallons of premixed juice in the freezer & lots more stuff)
So if them bozos in Washington dont like it.........they can have a good look at my rosy red redneck hinny, cuse I'm gonna puff.

Well I certainly hope that doesn't happen.
Just the thought of not being able to vape and be surrounded by multiple PVs, batteries, tanks and a supply of juice but not have a working coil would be enough to drive me crazy! Can't have that happen... no way.
It might not be pretty but hopefully I'll be able to get my vape on with it.

Perhaps I shall start buying up coils for my tanks that I love (Megas for sure & a couple of other tanks I enjoy like my T-18's). I also don't own any battery type mods, only the regulated kind with internal batteries - hence built-in obsolescence, too. I didn't intend to enjoy vaping quite as much as I do, but if the government tries to push me back into smoking, they're gonna have yet another white, shiny posterior to view (and it's old).

Cheap and very consistent, they also are NR-R-NR so you don't have to worry about the legs of the coil melting your insulators. If you don't like silica wicks there are easily pulled out from the coil and changed for the wicking of your choice (cotton/rayon etc) .
$3.54 Ready-made Wicks and Wires - NR-R-NR (50-Pack) (Wick + Wire, 2.0ohm: 50-Pack (NR-R-NR)) at m.FastTech.com
If you are using mesh surrounds like me then the size of the mesh is determined by the amount of VG. I vape high PG (70%) so I use 400 on the small holed coils and 500 on the large holed coils. You might need to tinker with the gauge to get it right for your eliquid.
The higher the VG the lower the gauge 200g for high VG 500g for low VG
So far, my V2 is being neglected for the mega now lol. I like it much more. Shorter and liquid size more convenient for me all around.

My stockpile is growing! Hopefully I won't really need all this but ya never know.
Krisma.....if the vapocalypse comes around, and we cannot get coil heads....are you for hire? I could never build a coil. I can barely put in shoe laces. I am klutzy, and very challenged when it comes to perception.

I think the FDA does not want their heads pulled out...so many past miscues. Methinks they are corrupt. They ignore the truth.

I'll be thrilled with my $1.07 Cerotank when it shows up in a month and brings my old coils back into use for me.

Miss Chris - you will LOVE your Cerotank Mega - I have two and plan to order a third one. They are just unbeatable (unless you are a sub-ohmer) and so reliable. Outstanding bonus price - now for the 20 day wait from China. I got my first one from Banggood and my second from LiteBreezeVapes - not that much more moolah and most definitely great customer care and FAST shipping.
Glam, it is just a dream that the government agencies would ever do what's right rather than what makes them the most greed money from those who would profit from our demise...... the FDA flat-out lies when they say that public health is their top priority - if it were truth, then they would be bending over backwards to support the vaping businesses and the vaping community instead of trying to destroy it all. It breaks my heart... it's one of the reasons I'm kind of glad to be an elder rather than a young woman... don't have all that many years left to put up with their mega-bullsh*t. *sigh*
Nice! where do you get the metal replacement for the cerotank mega? If the vapocalypse is coming and i break the mega'as glass i wouldnt mind having an indestructible metal piece.
