Best wishes on a safe procedure and a speedy recovery, Roscoe.

As for the Forge, it looks very promising. I'm just so nervous of bottom air atties - I've found they conflict with my squonking style. The freakshow, the manta, the vengeance - great vapes out of all of them, even more spectacular spills with my clumsy meathooks.

You say "angled air flow"? Qu'est-ce que c'est, mon ami? How might it help?

It won't help with the over squonks but will keep from condensation build up weaping out the airflow holes as there is no shelf to hold juice on.

Oh yeah, you want to be completely out for that! They may even do a nerve block as well as the general anesthesia. It will render your arm completely useless for a day or so, but helps with pain management [emoji6]

They did that when I had my thumb joint replaced a few months ago.

Yep I agree! With the proximity to the bone the whiskey pain management and biting on a bullet would not be advisable!:(

LOL that's for sure. They also gave me some "happy medicine" before doing the nerve block and knocking me out, so it wasn't too bad [emoji6]

You will be good as new before you know it roscoe [emoji2]

Went by the PO on way home and I got a slip in the mailbox! I suspect it is the forge attys. I hope I can sneak by the PO and snag them sometime tomorrow before I leave town for my very early surgery Friday am. Won't have time to bf one before i leave but I can surely throw some coils on one and drip test it[emoji6]

Forge v2 in my hands. First impressions are good[emoji106] hard hitting little atty. I put a 26g nichrome build on it at .3 ohm. Good so far. Will use rest of the day and report on flavor production. Breaking in my coils and wick still and already feeling nic sick[emoji15]

Standing by for your report. I'm intrigued but on the fence with this one.

Good for you for building it with an injured digit. That had to make it more difficult.

The good news is the juice well is very deep albeit narrow so it takes a pretty healthy squonk to get to the airflow holes. Somewhat tricky bugger to bf but I managed[emoji6]

Update on testing the forge......i wanted to see if i could make this thing leak so I gave her a veeerrry healthy squonk and laid it on its side with a set of air holes facing down for an hour. Came back and she is dry as a bone[emoji1] I am wicked with rayon. good sign[emoji106]
