Hello all, been lurking for some time and find these mods amazing!
Question: Are there an plans for, or has there already been done a dual 18650?
I realize it would be huge and heavy, but my god it would look amazing with all the cogs and gears and rods and springs and whatnot....just curious.

So jealous of you guys who have received the Avion. I am way down on the list. I have a confession to make.The Avion is not actually for me it's for my husband Steve although I am totally in love with it I think it will be too chunky for my little lady hands.

He does an 18500 version, rivernut has one I believe. Pics in here, it looks awesome and much smaller.

Nice! Sometimes I wish I had gone for one of those, I choose an ancient Atlas 10F instead for about the same money.
So far Ive only done pretty small stuff I reckon the Taig would've been perfectly adequate for my needs. I do love the aesthetics Atlas though!

Is it your first lathe Roscoe? The Atlas was mine, it was a bloody steep learning curve!

It is my first personal lathe but i have some experience with them. I really wanted a bigger machine but I am very space limited at the moment. This little lathe will do nicely until I get a larger work space (& budget). [emoji6]

I have toyed with that idea several times and have scrapped it due to the size and weight issue. That being said if someone wanted one i would build it[emoji6]

We are finishing up element's custom job today. Things have been slow lately due to I have been very busy at work for a change. I have stockpiled a bunch of small parts though and have several mods under way in different stages of build. So even though I have not completed any in a while we are still moving forward slowly [emoji57] Thanks to everyone for your patience [emoji106]

We are finishing up element's custom job today.

I just have to share with everyone what an amazing job Ross has done with my avion.
After ordering eyes and then ordering more cause they weren't "the look" I was going for.
Ross absolutely nailed the integration of this into the avion.
If anyone loses their mind when he posts pictures, you won't be alone, mine has been blown since a text I received a few days ago!
Really this mod could be king of the dragon con parade. I even think lord Vader would kneel in subjecation in its presence.
I believe Boba Fett used this mod to defeat the Sarlacc and return for episode VII

Just got back from an extended trip and there she was in all her steam punk glory. It's even a bit pre-patina'ed from the wait (which I love).

As cool as these things look in pics, you have to hold it to really appreciate the work.
