The guy at my local vape shop (pretty knowledgable dude) actually just denied me sale of the new BVC coils because apparently there are some manufacturing defects with them. He said alot of people were bringing them back and the shop was having to replace alot of them until finally they took them off the shelf until the issue resolves. Also, to a lesser extent, he said the regular BDC were having issues to (fit mainly but also other things). So I am thinking this is something on Aspire's end. It could also be possible some fake coils hit the market. Try talking to your vendor and see what they say

Well, rats. I read a bunch of folks that have been using the BVC coils without the problems that I've had, and 101vape has them for $13, so I sprung for another box. Sure hope they are not all duds like my first box. Sigh. Good thing the BDC's are working well.

I've been slamming the nautilus mini at 15 watts on a vamo v5 with MBV strawbanna 80vg/20pg and it rocks! I love the new bvc and I'm using a bvc in my fullsize nautilus and its finally come alive. I will never buy aspire nautilus bdc coils again

Completely agree. Got 25 BVC coils today because of all the reviews. Popped one in my 5ml nautilus and I loved it. A BVC in my 5ml nautilus on my seven 22 mod. My search for a better mod, tank, coil are over for quite some time. Oh the flavour.

Your Nautilus seals are messed up or something is loose and not letting them seal. The complaint directly indicates no Negative vacuum.
(tank not sealing)
Save the Heads(they are useable) and fine the sealing issue.

Warning - going to a smaller air hole draws more liquid to the wicks.:)

Might be, but wouldn't that also cause problems with the BDC coils? I put the old coils back in (plenty of life in em) and they are working really well. Same tanks. Also a bit hard to get that both my tanks had some problem at the same time.

Thanks for the comment though, I can now understand what the Aspire people were writing about. Guess I owe them a bit of an apology, cuz I was kinda short with them about their suggestions.

Wouldn't it be better to buy direct form Aspire? Sure it's 20 dollars for a 5 pack but at least you know it's legit. I was excited to hear about the BVC, hearing the news of these problems saddens me. Granted, in production there are going to be some mess ups. No product when being mass produced is going to be perfect 100% of the time.

All legit Nautilus, Minis and coils have scratch off authentication codes that can be verified on the Aspire website....This is the same step Kanger took some months back that helped stabilize their Quality control issues. There is lots more money in counterfeiting Coils than the tank systems themselves...I suspect that legit Aspire products will soon dominate the market again like they were doing some months back before frauds and fakes tarnished the brand. BTW, Day 6 on my new BVC and I've ran 35-40 ml thru the one I'm using and it's still vaping perfect. Oddly enough, always being a mouth to lung guy, I've started direct lung inhales with these coils and it's a new experience altogether. I've never had a topper that could keep up with a direct inhale without tasting burnt or dry hitting. Learning new stuff all the time I guess. I'm really enjoying these Bottom vertical coils (Carto coils) - Dave

Copy, I was under the impression that they just took this step so there would still be several legit boxes out there with out authentication codes. I just thought buying directly for Aspire until the new boxes with authentication codes get cycled through would be a possible temporary solution to consider.

Not happy with BVC coils either. As a matter of fact my full size Nautilus had the same issues with the BDC coils. Starts off at the approximate 1.8 ohms and then would climb in ohms to about 2.5 and taste burnt. I went through a almost 8 coils in 2 weeks. Was super anxious to get my mini Nautilus and 10 BVC coils. Got them Monday and same thing and in both the mini and my full size...coil ohms creeping up and tasting burnt after a few hours of vaping. I use 50/50, 12mg MBV juice usually with 2 extra flavor shots. light to medium dark.

My mods are both I-tast MVP 2 and VV3. Was loving the BVC and started off at full power (11 watts). Now I'm running them with VV around 4 to 4.4 volts. Gone through 3 coils in each tank. But the 3rd one in my mini is hanging in there after 1 day but did jump from 1.8 to 2.0 ohms after a 100 toots or so.

I'm miserable with these things. They work great initially and I'm still not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Please offer some suggestions. I've spent a lot of money and I'm back to my mini pro 3 kanger, at least it's reliable.

I checked the serial #'s and all products are genuine...

I bought my full size Nautilus from a local B&M. Should I try to exchange? How could I have the same problem with resistance increasing in both BDC and BVC coils. HELP! The big nautilus is gurgling too on the new BVC coils.

UPDATE!

Got a new box from 101vape. Both tanks now working great on the BVC coils! Vaping on Hana Mod at about 14.5 watts, higher seems too intense with these flavors - Flavor in intense! have to revisit my habit of intense flavors, I think I will try some subtle ones, as this coils allows the flavor to come out in a way I haven't experienced on my other tanks or clearos (no RBAs or RDAs yet, but eyeing a kayfun lite clone, we'll see, this was supposed to save me money, but I get enthusiastic).:p

Have informed the Aspire people of the newly successful experience, and will send them pictures of tanks and bad coils (at their request). Very pleased with the working coils, still a bit concerned about quality control as by direct experience is now 50/50% on a box level.

Congrats on the successful BVC. IMO these coils are game changers. Inevitably some coils, as with most new products, will have some issues but I'm hoping that with the anti-counterfeiting measures that aspire has in place QC complaints will diminish.... BTW, It is day 7 for both the wife and I on our BVC and they're functioning flawlessly. My wifes been Avg. 3-4ml a day and I've been Avg. about 7ml a day....I've dropped my nic level to around 16mg from 24 since I got the BVC because of the increase in Vapor and all my flavors seemed a bit to intense...I added pure VG until I got the dilution level that worked for me. These coils are more than just Hype, They are a preview of how all coils will be made in 6 months from now. Again, Congrats on the good coils- Dave

My Wife has been vaping on her Mini for about 2 weeks on the same BVC head. I'm going on a week with mine. No falling off, no burnt tastes... just great flavor and clouds. My wife tends to burn her heads way too long and not replace them so I have to toot on hers every so often just to make sure she's getting a quality vape. All's good so far... 2 weeks and counting on one head!

Not sure what's going on with everyone else's issues. It would suck if I've got some bad replacement heads... I've got 6 boxes from Sweet-Vapes!

By the way, I'm using 50/50 blends with 6mg nic.

After going through both coils that came with my mini Nautilus and 4/5 in the 1st box of spares...every single one of them rapidly rising in resistance and tasting horrible, I decided to open the other box of coils. Put one in my mini and the other in my full size Nautilus and YAY! They are both still working after 24 hours. I hope the other 3 in the box are the same.
From my research, it's doesn't seem unusual to have QC problems with with Aspire/Eigate. Kind of pitiful really to have such a high failure rate. I had even worse results with BDC coils prior. I made this last purchase through Aspire at aspirecig online. I sent a message asking them to replace the 6 bad coils. Has anyone here had any luck with a similar request???
These coils aren't cheap but they do work (when they work) great and I don't mind paying but they've got to get their QC inline...

I am a relative newbie as I've only been at this since last fall.

Glad for you Mstave. I have at least 2 working coils from a pack of 5. These things are nice but Eigate needs to get their QC in line. Seems like the vaping community is pretty forgiving it seems
