Apire BVC heads leaking bad

My first post, been vaping about three months. Using a Hana Mod, have two nautilus tanks that have worked well with the BDC heads. Using a 50/50 juice, one dark and one light. Got the new BVC heads in today, installed and let em sit for about 15 minutes. Started at 12.5 watts, juice in my mouth on both tanks. Disassembled, cleaned and tried smaller airflow holes - juice in the center tube, mouth etc. Pulled em, tried two new ones, repeated the exercise - no change. Reinserted my BDC heads (one 1.6 the other 1.8), working well again. Did notice that the airflow through the heads (mouth to top of tube) seems VERY loose. Emailed Aspire and we shall see. For now, back to the BDC and 11.5 watts.

Thinking about trying to block on the holes in the side of the head, or maybe two. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem when I first got the BVC's. For me, using an 80/20 vg/pv I would get very bad flooding when using the smallest airhole, to the point of juice actually leaking out of the airhole. After cleaning it out and starting over, I got the best results (big clouds, no flooding) when using the largest hole. Been using the same coil for over a week without a noticeable decline in performance. Maybe try a higher vg juice?

I've been slamming the nautilus mini at 15 watts on a vamo v5 with MBV strawbanna 80vg/20pg and it rocks! I love the new bvc and I'm using a bvc in my fullsize nautilus and its finally come alive. I will never buy aspire nautilus bdc coils again

Vaped about 16ml through my BVC since Sat. and I'm still vapin perfect but I was one of the rare ones who didnt have any trouble with the BDC..so there's that.

Thats so strange, I converted both of my full size nautili and have a mini all with the bvc and they have been flawless. I hope this isn't a typical aspire coll crapshoot.

Hmm. Using a 50/50 mix on the largest hole. I think I have a bad batch of coils. Been going back and forth with Kiki at Aspire, but they seem more interested in having it be something else. I do understand their POV and imagine they get a lot of questions that are solved with the equivalent of "OK, you have to plug it in" kind of issues. I am using the tanks now with the BDC coils, works fine. It's just the BVC's .... Sigh

I'm still a relative noob, so pardon the question - Has there been widespread issues with Aspire coil quality in the past?

You and me both - no issues with bad BDC coils at all, that's why I was so surprised and disappointed with the BVC. Really had high hopes. Going back and forth with Aspire through email, maybe something will come of it.

I have had issues with the BDC coils, but I am waiting to get the BVC till I see continued good success. I have 2 Aspire Nautilus tanks, each coil I have used has run into issues with flooding, no matter what I did. I took the advice from several people on here, but still had issues sometime an hour or the next day for no reason the BDC'c would flood. My thinking is maybe I received 2 bad tanks, but the B&M said they only had a few issues. I will wait till the jury comes in.

Thanks Dave! Funny how we feel better when someone really gets what we are going through. Soon as we finish off paying for my wife's new tires (blow out last night, sigh), I'll probably try another box

This is odd! I have heard such great things about the new coils! Hopefully it's just a bad batch and it gets resolved!

The guy at my local vape shop (pretty knowledgable dude) actually just denied me sale of the new BVC coils because apparently there are some manufacturing defects with them. He said alot of people were bringing them back and the shop was having to replace alot of them until finally they took them off the shelf until the issue resolves. Also, to a lesser extent, he said the regular BDC were having issues to (fit mainly but also other things). So I am thinking this is something on Aspire's end. It could also be possible some fake coils hit the market. Try talking to your vendor and see what they say

A lot of people have had Quality Control issues with Aspires BDC coils although I am not one of them. Perhaps the qc hasnt been worked out quite as thoroughly as one would have hoped.

Aspire, to me, seems like a hype company. All I see is people ranting and raving on how GOOD these new BVC's are yet, I contacted Aspire pretending I had issues as well and got the run around... I'd trust a company more to come out and say "We f'd up" then what I witnessed... I'm not trying to hate on my first post but I saw this coming. I am also 3 weeks into vaping and off cigs!

And they even count how many time's the code was accessed. So if you get a legit looking box scratch the code off and the site say's viewed more then once then it's time to switch your supplier!

I bought the aspire nautilis and have had same problems. Im fairly new to vaping so read up on the thing and tried rebuilding it and put a 1.8 micro coil in it and it was awesome for a day or two and then just same As before. For the price i was bit let down. Im new on the site just adding trying to get a few posts in

Ya come to think of it my nautilus had that tag on it. When I bought my nautilus coils I bought them one at a time and they came in little blister packs. Our nautilus sadly just sits on an itaste vv/vw waiting for the day when we have no charged 186650 batteries and it can once again be vaped on lol. Seriously though I am still holding out hope for those BVC coils, I am going to order some direct from aspire on payday.

As far as aspire being a "hype company", I respectfully disagree. See aspire has made a few products very well, I mean the nautilus alone is widely regarded to be an amazing "out of box" tank and I tend to agree. That is just my opinion however and ymmv as always
