It was a lot of fun working in medical transcription. A couple of my co-workers were horrible about self diagnosing based off of stuff they read in medical reports, lol! I must say it did come in handy, having access to such a wide variety of information and diagnoses, but self diagnosis is dangerous!! At least the people who came in for an appointment were smart enough to follow up. :)
Yes, but you wouldn't believe how many weren't there to follow up. Only there to get the script they "knew" was right for the diagnosis they gave themselves. I mean to the point of arguing with the doc. I'm not even talking about those who were just trying to get pain meds.

lmaoooooo..i have to keep it in a circle...and i dont want to do summers here....lmaoooo
Well, I'm in that circle between SC and FL but you would want to make it around fall or spring here. Myself, I love the summer... hotter the better but many don't really care for summer in S GA.

EXACTLY!!!!! We were stationed in a rather rich neighborhood.....got a call one night to respond to call of "woman hemorrhaging"at 2am no less. We fly lights and sirens, get there and the BUTLER meets us at the front door and tells us "Madame requests you use the servants entrance". So, we go around, and the door gets opened by Jeeves again, and there "Madame" sits with a packed suitcase, a Louis no less. Her emergency??? She cracked a fingernail and her personal manicurist was not answering her phone. The hemorrhage? You know that little spot of blood when you split a nail too low? Yeah, that was it. She demanded to be transported to ER, so we had to take her. Waaaaaaahmbulance!!!!

Well, my only temp control mod just took a crap on me. I'm screwed. See, if I had pretty new Reliant that wouldn't have happened.

Just kidn of course......but I would REALLY love a Reliant. :thumb: The tc mods I have are budget junk mods eg. No adjustable tcr or np settings.:(

I would have loved to work in the medical field...it really intrigues me and I don't know why....I would have loved to have been a nurse - blood and guts don't bother me but have someone throw up and I run away unless it's a baby..I even close my eyes and hold my ears when they portray those scenes on tv - hubby laughs at me.

Lol...I have a route planned out by seasons....west coast is late winter into spring....summer up north in MN and MI, fall is Northeast for the leaf changes and heading south to the Carolina's, Florida and Texas for the winter.
Do you really do that???? I will come along...I hate winter so bad...I could cry when I think it is right around the corner...the only good thing about it is I don't have to freeze while smoking out there anymore...lol..I even had a pair of smoking gloves!!! Hubby don't care that I vape so that is what I do all the time except when the grandkids are here...I just don't want to explain to them what I'm doing so I'm all about steal thing when they come!!!

That would be frustrating!! I never argue with them - just basically ask their opinion on what I read. My hubby diagnosed himself about 15 yrs ago ...he was in so much pain that he couldn't even walk - he even went to a wedding sat nite but come Monday morning I made sure he went to the doc. He told everyone it was a hernia and this was pre Internet for us ...turned out he had cardiomyopathy. He was so off on his own diagnosis and was glad he had a good doc
