The really bad thing is that we have so many lying pieces of crap "representing" us in local, state and federal government. Every time you think that they will come to a logical conclusion regarding ecigs, just remind yourself it is NOT about public health, it is NOT about the children it is ALL about money. We threaten them, so they will lie to no end to get rid of us. I mean wipe us out. They blatantly do not give a rats tail how many people die from smoking related illness. They blatantly do not care about the future cost. They care about the money we are taking from them NOW.

Pay attention to who you vote for. And beyond that ACTIVELY campaign FOR their opponents. They only way to change this is a change of guard in government. We must eliminate them.

It's always been about money. They don't care about our health or our kids.
Money rules the world not morality.
Yup...and sorry if this offends anyone....but when I do a CASAA CTA, guess where my letters go to... TED CRUZ.

LOL...Cruz is just as bad. I've never seen someone twist the Constitution as badly as he does.

yep...it's all about ..and always HAS been about the money.
I wish I could remember the name of the author I was listening to on NPR one day. He was saying that Capitalism is so crooked because it is the belief that "they"..Big Business..can't make money or compete ..if they stick to a moral High Ground. This guy was saying that that's not true...that businesses CAN prosper...but it's the overwhelming tide of Big Business...lie, cheat, skimp, bribe , lobby..anything to make the Buck...that ultimately makes it hard for an upright moral Business to succeed.

..that got a ha-rumph out of me :)..if I understand it correctly..he is, afterall...a Strict Constutionalist ...
He served as a law clerk to J. Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 1995 and William Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States in 1996. He was the first Hispanic to clerk for a Chief Justice of the United States.(Wikipedia)
I've always believed that if you want to corrupt something, you must first know how it works.

So on the flip side of that...If you want to PROTECT your rights...You ALSO must do your homework...Because the opposition certainly has....
I have much to learn about the judicial system....One thing I have learned is it isn't about emotion. I can jump up and down and scream how it's not fair...how it's not right...How anybody in their right mind could see that...But the justice system IS blind...They go by precedent setting legislature...they look for loopholes...They look at similar legal case law...And sometimes legal opinion from learned sources....IMO the way to fight law is to become One with the process. It is extremely difficult to fight what you do not understand. That's why it's important to have those in our ranks who DO understand how the machine works....So they can show us, lead us, help us understand what each of us...as individuals and together CAN DO to make a difference.

Case in point... And forgive me for going on a mini -rant....the Affordable Care Act has been ruled Constitutional, yet he opposes. He's against same-sex marriage, although the First Amendment says laws cannot be based on religion, and he calls supporters of pro-choice "Satan worshippers" and savages even though Roe v Wade has been around over 40 years. He uses the Constitution when it suits him.

{Ted Cruz} uses the Constitution when it suits him.
...exactly ...he is supposedly an expert on the Constitution...but he knows it well enough to try to work around it to suit his agenda..Law clerks to the Supreme Court basically do all the mind numbing work for the Justices..
Each justice is allowed to have up to four clerks, except the Chief Justice who gets five.

The primary job of the clerks is research. When a justice is assigned an opinion to write, he/she will have their clerks organize all the relevant information, construct arguments from briefs and oral testimony , develop the legal framework for the opinion, and assist in drafting the opinion.
Wow. Just wow.
