Just joined ECF and wanted to take the time to introduce myself. Yes I am a Noob when it comes to vaping and have so far enjoyed my journey into this promising new world. I spent weeks in the shadows researching vaping and made the plunge on 2/14/14. Well at least that is when the first of my packages arrived. After countless hours of research and YouTube videos I've started this new life with a massive amount of confidence. I skipped the whole ecig/ego style and went straight in vv/vw mods and may have went a little overkill. Within this first week I have an Itaste MVP 2, a ZMAX V5, 4 different tanks, two 18650 batteries with charger and 2 free samples of juice. Then I dug around on ebay and won an auction for a Innokin SVD, 3 iclear 30, 2 iclear 30s, 1 iclear 30b, 2 mini protanks, 1 protank2, 1 protank3, 1 vision victory BBC, 2 18350, 2 18650, fire safe bag, 2 battery cases and another 4 port charger. Now I'm waiting on a little over of 300 ml of juices from various vendors. I think I've gone mad and in remarkable time.

The very first day I went from smoking a pack plus a few of my usual red boxed cowboy killers down to 2. The next few days 1 to 1 and a half. For someone at the ripe old age of 31 who has smoked for the past 16 years this has been truly amazing. I can already tell some differences both physically and mentally. Once my juices arrive I can finally put analogs behind me and move forward in life with a more positive outlook of the future. To me vaping is having your cake and getting to eat it too.

Opinions from others, have I gone overboard already or is this just par for the course?:glare:

Welcome to ECF Cornbread!!!!

I don't think that you've gone overboard....you just went from having a start to having a Ton of choices to see what works for you right from the get-go!

Anything that helps your quality of life and health is a good thing. ....as long as you don't end up in bankrupcy court over it!

It sounds like you've taken the bull by it's horns, and I am thrilled for you.

Welcome my brethren Kentuckian!

After lurking here for some time and reading what everyone else was doing, I also skipped past the ego and cig-a-likes. After reading post after post about people quickly upgrading to something bigger and better I decided not to waste any money or time and my first purchase was a Provari with a couple of Kayfun's. I was intimidated doing my own coils right out of the gate, and admittedly, the first one was a disaster. But I'm glad I purchased what I did. You however, really went on a spending spree. With all that variety, sounds like you're set. If you're using it, then you didn't go overboard!

Hi and welcome-looks like you'll be set good in the hardware dept for awhile-have fun exploring juices now-also love your name-and nah, you didn't go overboard if you had the $ and not going into debt over it...better that you skipped a lot of frustrating beginner set ups with simple, reliable, and satisfying gear-good luck to you! and you have backups for backups too, and multiple tanks for using the multiple juices you'll discover soon.

Cornbread what it is! Congrats! You got a bunch of good gear. Figure all that out and when your ready get a kayfun to build. I went through all the equipment you got and it was great. Took @ 2 weeks to totally not want a smoke. The kayfun is really the apex of the experience I have had so far. Still like the protanks for a backup but the vap from the kayfun is hard to beat. Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Glad to know I'm just well equipped and not going overkill at first. I really wanted to invest in some RBA's as well but I wanted to make sure that I really enjoyed vaping before investing that much. My wife has been nice enough to let me know that as long as I'm off analogs she doesn't care what I spend but 2 things hold me back on them. First she might be overwhelmed by price/obsession. Secondly I go for surgery to have a total shoulder replacement next month and will confined in a very restrictive sling for 6 weeks. So with that in mind I didn't want to have my wife watching videos to rebuild my coils while I sat impatiently by. Right now I'm working on a stand to hold everything from some seasoned wood on my land. Hopefully with a little creativity and some hillbilly ingenuity I can get this wrapped up before the weekends out. Now off to check my vapemail...wife has four packages at her work waiting on me.
