So, my fiance and I both vape. He's much bolder than me though! Last night we went to Applebee's for dinner. As soon as we sat down he immediately started vaping (huge plumes too!). I noticed a guy staring us down a few feet away. It was the manager. A minute or so later he walks over and says "Is that smokeless?". My fiance replied yes and without another word the manager walked off.

Next thing we know half the staff was at our table. It started with the bartender (who had heard of them before. I think he's the one who told the manager what it was), then our waiter, then the bus boys, then all the other waiters. Everyone was fascinated. There were people eating all around us and I guess they'd noticed too because as soon as our waiter left our table several people were asking him what we were smoking. We gave quite a few explanations and demonstrations! We gave them Steve's website and they went to the back and got on it immediately. I think he'll have a few new orders after last night ;).

Overall I've noticed the reactions to be good. My fiance vapes everywhere and seems to always get away with it without anyone saying anything. The waiter told us he thought my fiance was shining a light at me..lol. Then he saw the smoke and didn't know what was going on. It seems people notice, but don't know what it is so they don't say anything.

We went to the bowling alley the other night and had quite a few stares (and I mean STARES! Long ones..lol. It confuses people). Finally, some guy came up to us and asked us what it was. After the demonstration he's going to get his parents (who have been trying to quit smoking) to buy them.

We have new experiences often so I'll keep you posted :).

I used my 901b in public for the first time New Year's Eve night and got some pretty wild reactions. Lots of puzzled looks. I figured the blue light would throw them off, lol. I did a few demos as well and broke it down to explain each part. Everywhere I vaped it was a smoking area though. The only place I've really vaped in public that was no smoking was a movie theater and I loved it! Just cupped my hand over the light and vaped away!

I'm Riddle80's Fiancee if you didn't know.
I really don't care about people staring at me, I enjoy it because people get very envious over my penstyle. They get Mad because they have to go out to smoke.
I usually make sure it's ok from the manager before I vape, but it was New Year's Eve and there was like maybe 15 people in the restaurant so I didn't care. My girl on the other hand has a panic attack if she sees me just pop it out anywhere.

We bought a new car today.
As you all know it takes for ever........

So I was outside vaping.
Then the finance guy called me in, and I walked in blowing smoke.

An other customer saw that, and asked me what was I doing.
I sat down and explained how my KISS works.
He's been trying to quit with pills and the patch.
It never worked for him.
He's going to give it a try.
I gave him Janty's website and this website.

Then we walked in the office to finalise the deal.
The guy behind the desk told him the manager had walked up to him, he wanted the guy tell me that I can't smoke inside the building.
I explained everything to him also.
He thought it was awesome, and was going to tell his girlfriend about it.

Same thing when we went out for dinner last night.
I had put my KISS in a little box where they keep the salt and pepper.
The waiter walked up and took my KISS, thinking it was a pen.
He looked at it, and said WTH is that.

Long story short, gave him the same info, and he's going to try it also.

Fun fun, to see people's faces.

No mountain man....Just a good TN man, not afraid to show his E-cig off in public:p

Whipping it out is a whole other story, but that was at Wal-mart and the Cashier didn't know what to think. About my e-cig that is I thought She was calling security before I got there but she was just calling the supervisor to show her my cool device since she smokes.

I vape in my cube at work...the walls are about 5.5 ft so most people can't see over them. Some of the people I work with know about but most don't. I havn't yet had a problem. I do try to keep it low and out of the way....but I gotta say......what a great thing....not having to go outside anymore just get my nic-fit.
Love this stuff!!!...

I smoked for 40 years but not in my house. I now smoke in my house.
I do it in my cube at work (6 X8 and 6 ft high). My boss knows and so does the HR manager. I do it in the lunchroom. I also do it in Walmart, Shoprite, Costco and anywhere else I go. I am not doing anything wrong.
People are curious and will ask about it. I haven't had anyone go postal yet.

I vaped at a bar/restaurant with the same reaction. My waitress was a smoker and was curious as to how it all works. Her and another waiter came over for a full demonstration, I showed them and told them how to go about getting one!!!!! It felt weird though explaining and showing them because I felt like a side show lol!!!!!!!!!!!
