I got some really good advice last time from people here it saved me lots of money. So thanks for that and I want to pick your brains some more. I really new at this (less than 6 months) got a twist. Just ordered a pheonix rba and ss mesh prerolled wicks. Going for a dual coil vert ss wicked. What ohm should each coil be for use with a twist. And I'm looking to step up to a apv thinking the new zmax coming out. Will this set up work out? is it possible? still amazed what a great resource the site is. Thanks

If you use two 3ohm coils in parallel then the resistance will be 1.5ohms
If you use two 4ohm coils in parallel then the resistance will be 2ohms
You see the pattern, each coil has to be double the desired resistance
I'm not sure how suitable the Twist is for powering dual coil atomizers
Maybe someone with Twist experience can help you more than I can
I'm good for a bump anyway

BTW - I have a couple Phoenix Atomizers on the way from Vapor.....

Twist only has an amp limit of around 2.5amps... You need something with at least 3.5 amps, preferably more. Most mechanical mods with high drain batteries, Provari, Saber Touch, whats that other one people love... kinda like a Provari but no screen and has a wheel for voltage adjustment...

Anywho you get the idea... None of the eGo's or smaller things like that are gonna do it, at least not well.

VW takes the math out of your hands. You set the wattage to what feels good, and then forget about it.

VW, what's that?

And for taking the math out of your hands...

Are you talking about just dialing in a Specific wattage you want to be at and you just leave the device to figure it out from there?

I thought that is what the New Provari is suppose to do; am I wrong or making stuff up in my noodle noggin' again?

Thanks

The Provari is Variable Voltage. You set the voltage based on the resistance of the "heater" you are using. Variable Wattage is what the Darwin and a few others do. You set the wattage you want, and don't worry about the resistance or any of that.

Is that thing ready to cut and roll with it?

Carbonized, is that the word I'm looking for? After you roll it then you put some eJuice on the wick and you burn the juice with a lighter to put some carbon all over the bare metal bits? Like the Video Mr. Bonner does make!

Just judging by the picture... It might be slightly seasoned, but not much. It would definitely need to be seasoned more to make a GOOD wick.
