I bought a few atts all for my 901. One would think they would be the same in vapor output. I tried a new one and notice it only provided about half the vapor as my last one. confused I tried another one and it had lots of vapor. I decided to test all my new atts I had on hand. it seemed it was hit or miss, some with lots of vapor some with little vapaor. Did I get a few poor ones or should I expect this trend to continue when I order more?

Of a break-in period before they kick in like you're used to.

I've found that a brand new atty gives off tons of vapor (the oil, no doubt) but zero throat hit until it's broken in. To the OP, you want to drip those new attys and inhale as little as possible...

Even after the break-in period there are definitely good and bad atomizers. Once in a while you get a 'god' atomizer that just gives amazing vapour. Cherish them :)

Aye, tis so..... also don't run extra voltage through them to get extra vapour and flavor, thus making them burn out on a Friday and leaving you vape-less until your new ones arrive. Please, don't to that.:(

Keep a stockpile. It's the only way. Yes, there are differences in atomizer manufacturing. There isn't a lot of strict quality control coming out of China, so you have to expect a lot of variance in performance. For example, I use the 510 almost exclusively now. I have something like 10 or 11 atomizers at the moment. One of them has a bridge that's too low to contact the batting in a cart, so it only works if I drip fluid directly on it (the supplier sent me a replacement because that's technically defective.) Other atomizers I have deliver varying degrees of air through them. Some draw very easily. Some require some effort to get a drag. This might be less of a problem if the hardware was manufactured in the US and more strict quality control was applied, but until then it's a bit of a crap shoot. The best way to make sure you have good hardware is to check everything as soon as you get it and return anything that isn't working to your satisfaction. Then make sure you always have a fair sized stockpile of bats, atomizers and carts. Otherwise you run the risk of having stuff go bad, leaving you high and dry for a few days.
