Are all KR808d-1 cartoz created equally?
In terms of flavor/juice, there's going to be a difference between standard Dekang prefilled cartos and the V4L prefilled cartos, but you seem to be asking about construction/performance.
I originally said (in that linked thread) that all of my standard-construction KR808 blanks were behaving identically. In theory they should, because (AFAIK) all KR808s are from Kanger and are the same model.
(The only exception I know of that is still called a KR808d-1 are the new cartos from Nhaler, which have a one-piece mouthpiece rather than the rubber ring + white plastic mouthpiece.)
(Edited to add: Looks like I spoke too soon -- LeCig.com seems to be
sourcing non-Kanger batteries as well. Judging from Cielo's post in the first thread I linked above, LeCig's cartomizers are also unique.)
But
now I'm not so sure that all standard KR8 cartos are alike, as one batch of blanks from a supplier seems to be burning/losing wicking power easily, and the wick seems to be receded from the walls of the cartomizer. Maybe they've been in storage a whole long time (not sure that makes sense), or there's some structural difference. Dunno.
Sounds like you bought prefilleds, though. The
prefilleds always give me lousy vapor (and an undertaste I can't get rid of),
even on top-ups, it seems. (I don't have a good explanation for this. It's just my baldfaced bias.

)
Try a pack of blanks? Some of us KR8 fans swear by them.
