Are all Nicsalt formulations similar?

I'm wondering about the nicsalt formulations; benzoate, citrate, salicylate ...etc.
what are the practical differences? In terms of smoothness, taste neutrality, stability, absorption, effect ...etc.
Most vendors don't disclose their nicsalt formulation but some do. But there is a lack of info of the differences.

Benzoic acid (used by juul) is somewhat controversial. Our resident chemist @Kurt has reservations, also.
