I just signed the petition (on post #38) to tell the FDA to leave our e-cigs alone.
signature #3340 craig cosby.. We need to find someone to honestly test these things
for safety and to show how they are much more effective than pills, gum or patches.
Spread the word and vote the disbelievers out of office !

Medical Uses:
PG has been used as the aqueous-based chemical additive in asthma inhalers and nebulizers since the 1950s, with no serious side effects known. PG, because of its water-retaining properties, is the compound of choice for delivering atomized medication. It is also a common diluent for injectable medications, constituting 40 percent of the intravenous form of Phenytoin, an anti-seizure drug.

I may plan stocking up maybe I guess for the halibut. I might have to stock up to plan for a couple centuries or so though, seeing as that I might live longer than I previously expected. But I believe there will always be a rebellion to rebel the bs. So I think even then, I may get my hands on ecig supplies in the future thanks to the rebels.

The goverment aren't gods, its the people who are. Okay maybe not, but that was just a figure of speech. But I worship my own kind, the people.

One day fat foods will have a supertax on them. But also one day, we will have the advance technology to have electronic fat foods. And the government will be there to say no you must buy our supertaxed fat foods!

But with we the people we will make it still possible to get an electronic number 2 meal made possible by the advancements in nanotechnology, manipulating matter, such as plain dirt, into a fatty big mac. The government is only a brick in the road, but we can still jump over it. They don't stop us, they only slow us down.

I don't really hate the government though. Just some things I oppose, as all of us would.

I don't really see the point.

Clove cigarettes have been illegal in the US for nearly a year, and it's illegal to send cigarettes in the mail now. And anyone with a credit card can import them directly from Indonesia to get cartons of 'em that are cheaper and fresher than what was ever available in tobacco shops -- straight to your mailbox.

The FDA knows who is selling them. The FDA has sent nasty letters to the companies (which are public record, and available on the FDA's site). And it hasn't stopped anyone at all.

So... do you really think that Customs is going to:
1) Search every package that comes in from China (where the vast majority of our stuff comes from anyway)?
2) Know the difference between an atomizer and a capacitor, if the declaration form says "electronics - 12 pcs." in Mandarin?
3) Decide that a relative handful of people importing e-cigs for personal use are more valuable culprits than people importing real cigs to evade taxes?

I just hope the domestic liquid producers come up with a "you're not fooling anybody, but this makes it legal" rebranding of their products like the companies that produce poppers (as VCR cleaner or room deodorizer) and fake illicit herbs (as incense) do.

"Oh, it's not e-liquid. It's... uh... room deodorizer! Then why does it smell terrible? Um... flowers are too common, and I am a unique snowflake. STOP JUDGING ME IS WHY!"

I don't know if you'd be able to make an atomizer, but I'm pretty sure that if you tried hard enough you would find multiple methods for vaporizing nicotine

I wonder if putting ejuice in a home vaporizer for like when you have a cold you traditionally put some kind of Amazon.com: Kaz KFC-4 4 Oz Menthol Inhalant: Home Improvement into these
Amazon.com: Sunbeam Health at Home 1.2 Gallon Steam Vaporizer, White/Burgundy: Health & Personal Care if it would work lol. Just thinking outside the box.

Why haven't the big tobacco companies seized this opportunity?

It's no secret that the FDA has financial interest in tobacco as well.

This is such Bull....!

Big Tobacco has lied to use about what they add to cigarettes thats why there are 4000 chemicals in each one and most of them we dont no what they are or how harmful could we really trust there ejuice dont think I could.

I have been a smoker since 1981. I began my personal campaign to stop smoking in 2002 after being diagnosed with diabetes. I had kicked 2 other habits (alcohol and illegal .........) many years earlier, and thought stopping smoking would be reasonably easy. I tried the patch, gum, nicotine inhaler, even hypnosis and failed every time.

I just recently heard about e-cigs and began researching them, hoping that this could be the tool I needed. After several weeks of reading forums and manufacturer websites I decided to take the plunge. I just have to wait for a check that is coming soon.

I just stumbled upon this thread while looking through the site, and the topic scared me. After even more research, I found the stories about the impending FDA actions against e-cig importers and the possibility of a ban on the sale of all PV devices here in the US.

I am at the end of my rope. This was my last chance to kick a nearly 30-year habit that has my health in a steep decline. So now I have a choice; buy a PV and hope that the government doesn't make it illegal or keep trying the same failed methods over and over until I develop cancer or COPD or any one of the many diseases that are associated with cigarette use.

I am writing letters to my senator and representative urging them to stop this course of action and instead look into regulation of the e-liquid to make sure that it is safe and the amount of nicotine is regulated and properly labeled. I urge all of you to do the same, otherwise the government that is supposed to serve us will turn us into criminals.

wow I hope mine last that long... I have a manual eGo. How many attys do you have that you cycle through, and how often do you use attys as opposed to cartomizers? Are there any tips for maintenance?

Love this! lol

I've been away too long, and to think that I thought the current administration was too busy taking other freedoms to mess with us at the moment.

I stopped using my ecig because something changed in the juice I was getting, It was making me sick. My old juice didn't do this but the new did. I'm thinking of trying to get it from Johnson creek and see if that bothers me but they only have 24mg. I'm wanting the 36mg.

Anybody else have this problem?

The FDA need to pull their heads out of their asses and go after more serious problems. Nicotine isn't that dangerous of a drug, just like caffeine. It's only dangerous if you take in large quantities.

Granted I've only had my e-cig for a couple of days, but I already love it for the same reasons why others do: it's safer than a regular cigarette in several ways. Hopefully the judge will be smart enough(haha) to throw the case out the window, and tell the FDA where they can shove their lawsuit.

You know I was just thinking, a collection such as this:

500 atty, 18 batteries, 200 carts, 1000 bits of foam, 2500 ml various juices, soldering iron, wire in various sizes, yep I have that, so, nah I didn't stock up LOL

would make for a great still-life photograph. It would also help the skeptics among us:

yeah I've got 2million atties and a hundred batts 6 thousand carts....
riiiiiiight...

believe those who have posted high numbers for stocked supplies. So, if you have a little time, take a picture of your stockpile and post it here.

I would post a pic but I jut got into vaping so my stockpile consists of: 12 10ml-bottles, 6 cartomizers and 1 spare atomizer
