I have been dripping mostly lately. Once I modified a cartridge so I could drip without taking it off, I've gotten really lazy! Now it almost seems as if these atties will not wick from a cartridge, or is it just me?
Are atties ruined for cartridges or am I?

When we switched to the janty kissboxes the very FIRST atomizer that I got wicked wonderfully and tasted great...every other one since then just wasn't the same. We have ordered from 3 overseas suppliers and a few inside the states...same thing. They REFUSE to wick...will not take ANY liquid from the cartridge even if the cartridge is touching properly. I don't think YOU are ruined on it, I think quality over the last year has dropped. We contacted one supplier because it was so bad and they replaced the whole lot (the wicks did not appear to even be attached to the bridge)...but then the ones we got next refuse to vape at 3.7 volts...you have to break them in for a week or two on a 9 volt battery and then maybe they'll break through and work somewhat on a regular voltage. Weird, I know...but it's true. So, anyways, we just switched to 901s. The 901s are wicking for a day or so, then they stop, and burn the cartridge filler instead...and then clog up and die. I'm very depressed. I have switched to cartomizers and so far haven't had a problem (it's only been a week though, and I'm vaping through some bad mismarked/misfilled cartridges...taste like rose and I cannot wipe the disgusted look off of my face!). LOL!

I guess I have just been lucky so far. As a matter of fact, I have a KR808D-1 on order for cartomizer use too. If I'm happy with the performance, maybe that will be the solution for those times when dripping is not convenient.
I'm a very heavy vaper...gotta do something to keep my mind off food (the nicotine addiction was broken 8 months ago a couple of months into the whole vaping thing)...and I LOVE the kr808 cartomizers. But, as I said, I have only had them for about 9 days. The first one I broke in 24 hours (I filled it with a strong menthol and couldn't taste it was getting dry). The second one lasted 6 days (switching between it and another, and refilling each at least 8 times a day...I don't vape them dry, just vape about 10 drops worth out of them before refilling them with another 10 drops)...The third has been up and running for 7 days (also being refilled at least 8 times a day). 
Can't complain. I've had regular high priced atomizers break on me in a day (DOA, threads break loose, atomizer snaps on first vape...etc) and I would much rather pay for a $1 atomizer that could break on me in a day or in a week! When I look at the cost it might be slightly more 2 $1 atties a week or a $6 atty that MIGHT last me 6 weeks but more likely only 3 weeks. But what I love is, you know the fresh atty taste, how wonderful they are for the first day or two before the flavor is just kinda there, not as face punching as the first few days...these cartos, full flavor every single time for me... It's like breaking open a new atty every time I vape!
Ok, I'm done with my praising of the cartos now. But seriously, I do love them! Except for these nasty ones I just got in the mail!
