E-cigs are booming right now. They aren't really targeted towards any one group I think. If anything I've noticed that a bit nerdy/dorky people have adopted them early on. Not really hipsters. Hipsters are decadent and self destructive idiots for the most part so I don't think they will adopt them for some time.

How long do you think it'll be before these things become socially acceptable? Or will they ever?
I haven't had any negative response to my eVic and it don't look like no cigarette.

I just tell people what it is. Often they listen being mildly interested and gesture some sort of "OK", then waddle off to wherever. Life goes on.

No one has reacted adversely to it so far.

Sweet, can't wait to tell my kids I'm cool again
It doesn't really matter to me what other people think about me vaping, it's none of their business. This is what finally got me off the smokes.
Now if I was running around screaming " Look at me Look at me I'm vappinngggg !!!!" blowing it in peoples faces, then they can have an opinion.

I'm a bearded dude, 6 ft, 220lbs, construction worker. I haul out my e-schlong and suck it proudly anywhere ! Show your friend a Vapor Joe or Phil Busardo video, and ask her if they look like hipsters (or people to tangle with).

It's growing daily, and the best part of it is that most people are genuinely enjoying vaping and NOT SMOKING ! Which means most of us don't give a ra what anyone thinks. She'll come around. Most people I'm around really enjoy the smell of my juices, which means I try to avoid vaping around children. I don't want to entice them ANY.

If anything, I would say it is the opposite. Everyone thinks these things are kind of nerdy that sees me using my Vector Variable Volt. As for seeing it become more socially acceptable in the future, my guess is that in 10 years you will see more e cig paraphernalia in gas station than traditional tobacco products. Which is good for everyone else, but makes me think that a lot of our precious vendors will become "sell outs". Oh well, no point in over analyzing now. Enjoy a vape!

I wear a "smoking jacket" when I vape, so I know I'm hip image.jpg
