I have an Ego mega atty/cart and I don't like it at all. It gurgles all the time unless I suck on it really hard. I can't seem to adjust the filler to hit a happy medium, it's either leaking all over the place or it's too dry. My last resort was to try dripping and no matter how many or few drops I use, it always gurgles. After reading these positive posts, I think I must have a crappy atty. I have one 510 atty that gurgles too but produces plumes of vapor. The big one has to be nearly dry in order to get noticeable vapor production and then the taste goes south. I love the looks and the feel of the big flat tip but I just can't get my vape on with it. Any suggestions?

Had a couple good and a couple not so good regular mega ego attys. These are the cylinder ones btw.

Do you guys notice any difference with dripping? I've read a lot of info that there's no different between regular 510 atty and mega ego attys...fair enough, but obviously the mega cylinder ones have a bigger wicking metal 'nub' thing (the biggest thing you see when looking into an atty) I've just compared them....so does this mean you can do more drops than with normal 510 attys when dripping? It would seem to me it would but not sure if there's drawbacks I'm not thinking of.

The newer LR Mega could be a good one, I have em on the way and will report back in a day..!!!

Forgot to mention I got my LR Mega attys in yesterday!

Unfortunately my ego batteries and charger are in the process of being returned since they were faulty, it'll be a while before I get them back....

One thing is that they come drenched in primer fluid, more than normal IME. Had to blow the first one out and got a fair few drips, then tested it with a couple drops of liquid and it still tasted gross. Just kept puffing it into my mouth and not inhaling for the rest of the day and the disgustingness finally faded.

Can report that they work great. No problems so far and plenty of vapour! Depending on how long they last they will be my favorite I think.
Noticed the Mega cylinder attys screw fine into a 510 battery...so was able to try them out.

They are not the Mega LR Attys I am speaking of they are just Mega Attys I believe be careful there

from the description

Joye eGo Low Resistance (about 1.5 Ohm) atomizers to be used with 650mAh or higher batteries (Ego's or mod devices) to simulate high voltage vaping. These are NOT recommended for use with normal ecig batteries as they will decrease the life of both the battery and the atomizer. These are also NOT recommended for 5v or 6v.

Please treat with extreme care and keep very wet at all times. Please remember these are simulated high voltage atomizers.

*Joye eGo Low Resistance Cylinder Atomizer 1pc

*Joye eGo LOW RESISTANCE Cylinder Atomizers(Type B) can only be used with the 2.5ml JOYE eGo Empty Cartridgeor Joye eGo Black Delrin Drip Tip

I asume if they use the EGO drip tip they are the type B Ego attys.. at 1.5 ohm that is LR..

I searched a while and find the terms are confusing, cause there is a LR XL atty (just a longer 510 atty).... that is where the confusion comes in.

I haven't cured the gurgle, but by replacing the cart batting with fine Bronze Wool (like steel wool only rust-proof) I get reliable wicking and no leaks. You have to keep them well fed. Then they put out so much vapor you don't have to suck so hard, and the gurgle becomes mostly a non-issue, look at it as purring. It tells you it's wickin' good. When it starts going deathly silent, time to top off. Oh, yeah, if you tilt it upwards, you can control the gurgle.

The atomiser is believed to be a JoyE 302 atty and meters at 3Ohms. Reg 510 atty = 2.2Ohm. So the atty performs just like a 302/801 would not a 510.

Cheers. That makes more sense.

I've been fairly impressed with them and a little surprised they'd only be 3Ohms, but can certainly believe it. I should borrow my brothers multimeter and compare the regular ones to the LR.

I'm liking the mega type B cylinder atties, but I'm getting short life from the two I've had. Mine are Joye atomizers branded with an AV tattoo (see picture in previous post). The first one died after 3 weeks with a resistance after death of 43.5 ohms. AV sent me a replacement (good folks!) and the replacement died after 4 weeks reading 0 ohms. I'm thinking I should get at least 2-3 months of daily vaping from a type B cylinder. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

I've been looking at the CE-2 rev 4 refillable ceramic cartos and wondering how they are working for people. There's a 1.8ml version that comes with a syringe tip for refilling. Anyone tried the 1.8ml CE-2 rev 4?

If you mean the eGo mega attys, there is a world of difference. For one, they hold 1.8-2.5ml in the cart(cone shaped and cyl shaped). For another, they put out much more vapor, and better flavor too. I will never put a 510 atty on an eGo again.(yes, I seem to be repeating myself. lol)

I second that. I went to these on my Riva and eGo's. Wow! No other word to describe them. They are indestructable too.

All 10 of mine gurgle. I read it from someone else as well. I don't understand why they do this but they are still kickin' it hard.
