This post title will probably catch flack from some people. Anyways, I'm a flavor e-cig user not a cloud person. I am kinda new to it all but I've noticed some things.
The three RDA's I have to compare with are the Hobo 2.1, the marquis, and the atomic. So I admit, my deck is limitted.
So I read everywere and a lot of people consistantly say that the Marquis is the pinnacle of flavor. I have to admit my marquis is more flavorful than the Hobo, but not by too much (with the right coil and air-flow they can be neck and neck with some flavors). Still it is noticeable over-all that the Marquis tastes better. Out of curiosity I purchased the old standard for flavor chasers, the Atomic.
I've only had a week with the Atomic. However... With the right coil, it produces the same amount of vapor, and the same amount of flavor. In some cases with custardy flavors, there are even more notes to pick up on in the atomic vs the marquis. I've done vertical coils, dual coils, chimney coils, diagnol coils, big and small, you name it.
So I am sitting here kind of stumped. I mean, there's so much hype about this new atty or that new atty, and how this one is better than that one. When truth be told, some of the old RDA's are probably still right there at the top.
Now over-all I still prefer the marquis for other reasons. Easier to build on, less finicky, etc. I just found it interesting to note that something "so 2013"(date might be wrong) is really just as flavorful as one of the most expensive RDA's out now.
In my opinion it would be great to get some real unbiased comparisons of New verses Old RDA's when it comes to flavor.
