are my estimates correct about how long a liter of NIC will last?

hi guys,

i've jumped completely into DYI and i haven't even received my first order yet. i recently purchased 1l of 100mg nic in 100% pg along w/ a gal of vg and pg. i'm trying to figure out if i have enough. please chime in to help me w/ the numbers.

i currently have an aspire atlantis tank. its capacity is 2ml. typically, i may refill it no more than 2 times a day. so for this calculation i'm using the max as a base figure. 3 tanks at 2ml is 6ml/day. 6ml/day*7 days a week = 42ml/ week.

i'm currently vaping at about 12 (from b/m store bought juice) mg of nic.

12mg/ml of nic should be .12 * 42ml(per week) = 5.04ml of nic.

there are 52 weeks a year. 5.04*52 = 262.08ml of nic per year.

there are 1000 ml in a 1 liter. 262.08/1000 = 3.81 years.

am i even close, or should i put down the crown royal?

hahahhaahhaaa. i haven't even sat down and tried to calculate how long the gallon of pg & vg will last.

1 liter of 100 mg diluted to 12 mg works out to 8.3 liters (100/12=8.3333~)

So...you will need 7.3 liters of VG/PG/Flavorings ..

8300 milliters of finished product...divided by 6 ml gives you 1383 days of vapor --just shy of 4 years.

You are of course assuming you will like/vape everything you mix. I know that is not true for me. Sometimes I experiment and it is no bueno! But so much fun when you get a few mixes right

thanks sgt. so 1383 / 365 (days) = 3.78 years. not to far from what i had. thanks.

also thanks sketchness. those number are assuming what i wrote. mixes or batches at that strength. it does not include waste.

when making first runs, i will make juice w/o nic at all, then go back and add juice if its a good mix. it would be extremely wasteful to add nic to test batches.
