Are RDA's a thing of the past?

I don't do dual/multi coil tanks or drippers. I tried a couple but it was double the work, double the materials/cost, double the juice consumption, half the battery life and very little improvement in flavor from my experience. I know a lot of people love them, I didn't.

In the past I played with dual coil attys, but these days a single coil is all I need for under 20W vaping. As you said, they yield longer battery life, quicker recoil, and still good flavor if you coil and wick it right.

I have become a fan of single coil RDAs. I used dual coils for over 4 years. Now my duals just collect dust. I still use high wattage in them, usually quad core Claptons at 60w but the ramp up on a single even with big wire is so much faster. My favorites are the Gorge and the GR1. Both have reduced chambers and flavor is much better than any dual coil atty I have ever owned.

I love being able to change flavors quickly. A little harder to do w/ tanks and squonking. Those are handy for convenience but your stuck with that juice until you finish it. So yeah, RDAs for are more enjoyable for me. It's been my favorite way of vaping for years and will be my favorite till I eventually quit vaping one day.

well well, theres something we totally agree on !!
tired of hearing sooooooooo much flavor from dual/triple/quad anything ,dam well better be since they're burning through 2,3,4 times the amount of everything !!!!! think there are coils out there higher then a quad, but don't give a flying firetruck
Squonking is my preferred method ,with the wasp and demon killer ,,yea yea yea

Tried Tc in the beginning, but it was just too dam finicky for me,, k.i.s.s.
I don't do Evolv anything anymore ,now i am building my own pwm mods
simple ,cheap and i can fix them in less then 10 mins should anything ever go wrong

To me, personally, all this truly shows is that you are more concerned about the efficiency than the flavor. Which, BTW, is fine by me, but I'm a flavor chaser, and, I don't care about the efficiency that much because, after all, you can't expect great flavor to just fall from the sky, there's no such thing as free lunch, and so you need to be willing to sacrifice at least SOME of the efficiency to chase flavor instead of talk about flavor.

I didn't mean to start a kerfuffle with my question!
Had I waited a day or two some of the RDA's that were listed as out of stock became available so it must have just been a holiday sale thing.

I've looked at the RDA's linked on FastTech, I'm not sure about ordering overseas direct for this purchase, when I finally decide what I'm buying, I'll want to get it sooner than later but I will keep them in mind for future purchases, prices are good.

Thanks for all the replies

Here's a picture of a single coil in my 30mm Deathtrap RDA to prove my point that, nope, multi-coil builds are most definitely NOT necessarily always burning through 2,3,4 times the amount of everything, and that is still regardless of how many exclamation marks you want to add to your biased retort.
