MNKE 26650 Battery

Hey Everyone,

Over the past couple of weeks I've been testing out the Notorious Hybrid Clone from Aether Tech. It's been pretty solid over the 2 months I've owned this mech mod. Noticed the center post would spin and didn't make a solid contact to my battery. Purchased a Cigreen dragon RDA and it sure did help but I started noticing that I was not getting the same hit or vapor as before. After trying various methods and researching online, I could not find anything to help regarding this topic.

If you look at the top of the MNKE batteries you can see normal wear on it which appears to be burn or hot spot marks on the contact. If your RDA pin does not touch the surface of the battery you may not be getting the best performance out of the battery thus effecting the vapor production.

What I did was took a 100 grit sandpaper and gently cleaned off the contacts and now everything works like a charm.

This may help others that may have had a similar problem. It was frustrating for me in the beginning as I kept open things trying to figure out what was wrong, noticing if everything is connected, if batteries were charged at one point I even stopped vaping for a few days and started to use my kangerTech. Ordered new MNKE batteries online should have a new pair coming in a few weeks.

Hope this helps someone out there.
