OK...I am NOT old....I've just outlived my warrantee... :D

And if my avatar is a representation of me, mine is wrong, cause...none of the words are misspelled. I chose mine cause I liked it...wasn't trying to convey some impression of me. And I suspect Bob doesn't look as cartoony as his avatar reflects. :)

Last...do we REALLY need to debate the "appropriateness" of a tiny pic that someone chose to use as their avatar? Trog and Kate don't get along, I GET IT! They both provide helpful information in the forum, and that has value. Arguing/debating icon pictures has no value (or very SMALL entertainment value). I personally would rather read the threads that have some useful information in them. If I wanted to see real fighting, I'll just watch wrestling (Hehehe).

If you both like, start a thread called "Mine is bigger than yours" and then have at it. What's next...."...your font is pathetic!...I know more swear words than you!...You use too many spaces in your posts!....<sigh>

Just one man's opinioin.

Lol, I've just reread some of this thread, there's been some interesting use of the edit feature.

Tex, once when I was trying to sort a problem with Kit I started a thread on the general discussions board for us to go so we didn't disturb other people. He didn't turn up and a mod deleted the thread.

Sorry but there is nowhere else to go. I'm not, no way having discussions with wallys by private message, that's a recipe for disaster.

Man, I came here to talk about e-cigs . . .

so what impression are u trying to convey dude..

. . . that I like to smoke :thumb:

Avatar - definition:
"Avatars on Internet forums serve the purpose of representing users and their actions, personalizing their contributions to the forum, and may represent different parts of their persona, beliefs, interests or social status in the forum." - which comes from Wikipedia, whether or not you want to accept that is up to you.

. . . I mean, you could ask the mods to turn off avatars . . . not sure how successful you'd be . . .

now where were we..ahh yes 3 pages back it was about supermini's.

Being reasonably new to all this e-cig malarky i'll give my opinion, or should i ? am i allowed ?? ok then my story ;)

My first e-cig was a super-mini, The reason I chose it was soley because it looked like a real ciggie.. period. I didn't know a thing about them , i didnt know different models where available , I didnt know about this Forum ( sadly ) and I didnt realise they were quite as disposable as they are.

When i got the super mini I thought it was great, with a new cart and battery it smoked great , lots of vapour the only thing that did put me off was the fact i was sucked into the 1 cart=20 cigs line. Believing this and knowing what i know now i knackered the atomizer quite rapidly and ended up sending it back as faulty ( my faulty ).

Thats when i discovered this forum and smokster!s site and the 901. I havent looked back since.

i have 4 different models of ecig , i have the 901, the classsic ( white and black ), the bling and i even bought another super-mini. So why did i buy another super-mini...form factor...it's the smallest. carts don't last 5 minutes but i top up anyhow.

I'll agree with trog on the cost of the supermini carts. I find it illogical that they cost the same as classic carts that use more plastic for manufacture of the cart itself and pen carts hold a massive amount more liquid. It's like charging 50p for a can of coke and 50p for a 2 litre bottle at the same shop.

so are supermini's bad for the e-cig..well it wasnt a bad thing for me , just a doorway to a bigger room

thats right i was advised not too,and just to clarify what the problem was to anybody who gives a crap, kate thought in her paranoid mind that she was being followed around from thread to thread by me.
reason why? because i happened to post in the same thread as her ???
make your own mind up folks....

i dont want avatars banned.. just to remind people that constantly having the same image bunged in font of people does affect them.. and can possibly annoy them.. i think they should be used wisely and with discretion..

i think the size of the ones on this forum should be set at a smaller less in your face size.. not an unrealizable thought..

and thank u kit for finding your "balls"..

END..

OK, wait...

So let me understand this.... Your problem Trog with the avatars is....LOOKING AT THEM?

Uhhh, If you check your owners manual for your display device, I suspect that like many others, it is probably equipped with one of those "On/Off" switch-type devices used to darken the screen to an unreadable level of brightness, thereby correcting the whole "Avatar" issue.

(This IS fun!!) :D

P.S. There is an option per-user to disable display of avatars.
