Are the Evods sold on Fasttech made by Kanger? and the heads?

I was getting all excited about being able to buy basically all I need from fasttech but after seeing some reviews on some of the protank/evod atty heads, im starting to think they are clones or ripoffs.... what about the evods?

I just want to find a place that sells and ships REAL Evods and evod/protank heads for cheap to Canada!

The EVOD's are NOT Kanger.
A lot of folks here on ECF say they're fine, but I tried one, and found it inferior...
FastTech DOES have real Kanger ProTanks and MiniProTanks, but the EVODs are clones...
Note that the page for them does NOT SAY Kanger - FastTech is honest that way - they're not even claiming it's a Kanger...

They are clones. But atlas they work pretty decently. The kanger ones are a bit better IMHO. Make sure to give them a good wash if you get them.

Along these lines. How are the Fasttech brand clearomizers heads, vs the Kanger heads? Just wondering because you can get the Fasttech heads in 1.8ohms, vs Kanger 2.2ohms.

I've not had much luck with any of the clearos or clearo heads - with the exception of the EVODs. I ordered 3 last time and after a really good soak, rinse and repeat, they vape pretty well.

I personally would steer clear of any vivi nova clones - lots of complaints of leaking and such.

That said, things might have changed though as fasttech are super-fast in getting in new items and changing specs on current items.

The Fast tech Evods are clones, they have two air holes as opposed to the Kanger items that have three, having said that some may say that is an improvement as the draw is less airy and I for one have had no issues with them

The heads are also clones but correctly made using a combination of resistance and spot welded non-resistance wire.
The silica for the wicks is below par and the resistance when measured is not always bang on but they do work fine, again having said that I always recoil and re-wick any Evod head to my spec anyway.

Threads are good and I hav`nt had any leaks, the price point is excellent!

Imho well worth the money if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful clearo

Out of 40 evod type heads from FT all have worked and not leaked , some have three hole some have two holes.( I passed a lot out)
out of 40 evod cone atty so far 3 didn't work right, one, went right in the trash as it won't stay together at all.
Oh, 20 of the atty's are the shorts ones, 20 long ones... I just use them if they work, I keep use till they go in the rebuild cup
so you get what you pay for, but if your going to rebuild, hell of a deal on them.

You can get a 5 pack from discount vapers for $5.96. Not too sure on the shipping prices, but it's a deal right now.

I rebuilt all of my evod heads. I never tried them stock in the evods from fasttech.

I have decided NOT to buy the ones from FT simply because the REAL Evods arent that much more expensive and im reading from a few people that they are having issues with leaking and taste.....so why not just buy the real thing for a few more bucks?

I mean, you can buy an Evod clone and pop in REAL Kanger heads but.... for the price of those clones, why even bother getting replacement heads in the first place?!!!?

Ide rather just buy ONE or two REAL Evods and put in REAL heads...or better yet, rebuild my own heads if you want to be cheap about stuff..
