I've been thru all of the usual bottom and top coil clearos and none are leak proof, some of course are better than others.

My current favorites are carto tanks. IBTanked, Smokteck dct or udct. These are pretty leak proof as long as all of the o-rings are good. I just spent a full day at the zoo with my granddaughter. One small dct on an ego in my pocket and 2 more as backup. No leaks.

Kayfuns and RDAs are next on my to do list, so can't comment on those yet.

Here are the thee options I know about. The last one I don't know anything about but you may want to do some research on them and see what is best for you.
1- if you're cool with getting into rebuildables go with or try a kayfun- a good clone will run you about 35-40 bucks and so long as it's assembled and built right you'll have no leakage and great flavor/vape production. Keep in mind or clean it really well before you use it and you'll have zero problems!
2- if you are not ready for a rebuiladble and aerotank from kanger or the aspire nautilus would be pretty good. For a bcc tank they are probably the best out there.
3- The other option would be a cartotank system.

You can get plenty of info on the pros and cons at www.tasteyourjuice.com
Good luck!

If you have a full-size ProTank, the adjustable air flow base is a good upgrade: since the air comes in from the sides, the bottom pin is sealed so juice won't dribble out onto the battery connector. There's a fair bit of room inside the airflow base too, so it should keep in a decent amount of juice. Obviously if you have a major flood it'll probably still end up coming out of the air holes, but if it's just minor gurgling you should be fine and you can just rinse it out when you refill the tank. I think the AeroTanks are already made this way, but I don't own one so I couldn't say for sure.

A lot of bottom coil clearos will leak or flood if you crank them all the way down onto the battery. It pushes that positive pin up and somehow lets juice flood into the head. If I'm using an EVOD or something, I screw it on until it just starts to get snug (just enough so it won't fall off or unscrew itself.) I rarely get leaking that way, maybe just a small drop on the battery pin. Maybe I've just been lucky though, because I've never had a major juice emergency...well, except for the couple times I've accidentally unscrewed an EVOD from the top and emptied it into my lap :D .

My aeros don't leak, nor does my protank2 fitted with a aerotank bottom, nor does the Iclear. I've actually never had anything leak - maybe luck or maybe because I'm careful. I don't like rebuilding, too much fuss - waiting for something that good to arrive on the scene ready-built. It will. If there's one thing I've learned during these years of vaping it's patience - if you want it, someone will invent it.

Tanks, clearo's and such? As a new vapor who wants to carry a few loaded toppers with different flavors, "no leak" tanks would be great. My limited experience has been with a very leaky Vivi Nova and a great little Aspire ET-S that does not leak.

I am not talking leaks while using the PV, I am asking about leaking when these toppers are stored off my mod in what could be in any position. In a travel case, on a dash or in a console or even in a leather pouch on the windshield of my bike.

I went to the IB Tanked carto system. No problems with leaking and I travel a lot.

For leak free I choose gp heron or spheroid. Kfl+ has the occasional flood that needs to be cleared only when I accidentally leave it in a hot place(like the car). Huge fan of the gp series but the wait for vapourday can be arduous. I think the aerotank is my favorite clearo and only leaks when it gets hot too. Notice the theme.

I've used Evods, iClear30, and Smoketech Aro, Protank II, full and mini, and Davide Pyrex tanks. I've had the best luck with the PT II's. I have 5 PT II's and 8 PT II mini's and have no issues with them leaking ... or corroding. One tip I think is that I don't take them apart to clean them so I'm not damaging the o-rings, plus on the PT II's, I have the adjustable air flow that is closed where it attaches to the battery, like the Aero Tank, unlike the minis where the head comes in contact with the battery. The reason I have so many is that I tend to rotate between several flavors of ejuice and don't want to spend the time to keep cleaning my tank when I change flavors. I've not had good luck with the Davide Pyrex mini tanks though. I bought them thinking they were cheaper than the ProTank but they all leak ... not from the bottom but from around the glass tube, so they sit in my drawer. Haven't tried the Kayfun or Nautilus tanks yet but it's on my bucket list.
