My Vivi Nova (didn't a single company trademark the name?) was $6.99, so I figured I was getting a killer deal.
Yes way too cheap for an original Vision. Trademarks and patents mean nothing when in China and it seems these companies don't bother with lawsuits- they seem to accept patent/ trademark infringement as part of doing business there. You find MANY clones in the vaping world. Also MANY re-branded products so vapers have a harder time doing price comparisons. PVs, cartos, tanks, clearos...all have been re-branded.

Of course you'll get all sorts of recommendations but I've been using the Vision Mini Vivi Nova and am astounded at how long the heads last. Very easy to use- just fill and go without worry. So popular vendors can't keep them in stock.

As for your present issue it could the head is not screwed in tight and allowing juice into the airway. may also be the silicon cap under the drip tip is not making a very good seal with the drip tip. You try raising this silicon cap 1/32" so it makes a seal/ contact with the drip tip.

As is, I'll vape what I have in the tank now, and check the post later. I would imagine that a quality replacement head might be enough to fix the issue. In any case, I'll remember to spend a coupla extra bucks to avoid the frustration.

Vision Mini Vivi Nova it is! OK, where's the best current place to get them? Price + shipping.

Generally a good price is around $10.00. The link that craigsdocks gave is good or ElectronicStix.Com · Vivi Nova Tanks
I find the 2.0/ 2.5 ml tanks look best on an eGo class PV. There will be threads showing between the tank and battery. If you need a "finished" look you may also want to buy an eGo sleeve to cover the threads.

Just make sure it's the VISION brand of vivi nova. Lots of knockoffs out there. The vision brand has the air holes above the 510 connector. Knockoffs have them in the base itself. IMHO.

Looks nice. Got a couple collars/sleeves for my eGo batts. The thinner tank definitely looks less top heavy.

Will go with the real deal next time I green light more spending.

For now, since I have a million and one flavors to try; I'll drip.

GREAT...as I always say when something goes wrong "at least it's fixable".
Cheers and have a great weekend.

has anyone tried the evod? I think that's my next purchase. unless... I just buy another mini nova since I have yet to have problems with it.

Actually I take that back. my husband dropped it and the metal core is bent. it still works though it's just a little crooked >.>
Looks like eventually we're going to need a replacement.
Wish he would have broke HIS and not mine lol >.> grrr

I had this problem just yesterday, wasted nearly a whole tank of juice and got it all over myself trying to fix the problem. I was out and about and ended up having a nic od. The man at the vape shop said the same as Baditude, and suggested I take the tip off and slide the tank down to relieve the negative pressure inside the tank. That seems to have worked. I am learning not to hit it as hard as I could a cig.

Yes I wish more vendors had this info on their website:
"Quick-tip - once its half empty you can depressurize it by removing the screw for 15 sec. This alows E-liquid to flow into the carto freely to help prevent a dry hit. Another tip for a dry carto - take the screw out and vape normally until you hear gurgling, replace screw and continue vaping. This tip can lead to flooding if done too long but works great for those rare cartos that just don't want to absorb e-liquid. Hope this helps!"

I use both the CE4 clearos and the T3 Kanger tanks. Both will begin to leak in time, the T3's are much better.

The only secret I have found to ensure a good consistent vape with greatly reduced leakage is to KEEP THEM CLEAN!

I mean Kuh-Leen.--> Wash those puppies after every tank and dry burn the coil. Also, only tighten them enough to make electrical contact to the power supply. These are not precision machined instruments.

The nice thing about the T3's is that you can invert them and pull the head - wash it out and give the container side a nice hard blow to clear the pipe, then vape on. That should handle any leaking or gurgling issues while enjoying.
