I buy all my joyetech ego twists at altsmoke.com. They have the whole range of colors most do not sell. They also sell a knockoff that they clearly label as a non joyetech battery. Its called the spinner and I have those as well and like them. I just love being able to order a different color over the standard black, chrome or pink that most vendors sell.

I got my ego twists from altsmoke as well. I have ordered a lot from this vendor with no issues. I am one of the ego dead battery people mentioned above, but I still recommend them. As many of these things as there all, the problems are only a small precentage of the ones that last as they are expected to.

Thanks guys. You have all been very helpful. Have another question. Any big difference between the Kanger T2 and T3 clearos???

Even though they were pretty good and what I used before the T3's, the T2's have the coil and wicking on top. There is a removeable mouthpiece to fill, which became a problem because the metal threading came loose from the plastic/delrin mouthpiece. The T3 has a bottom coil and wicking - less dry hits and less burning, and the mouthpiece is fixed, so no problem there. The bottom of the T3 has a knurled piece that connects to the battery and the tank. You have to fill the T3's "upside down" - iow, remove the tank from the knurled piece upside down so as to not spill any ejuice. One thing you have to watch for those is that when the tight system, via three silicone seals is unscrewed, then you'll get some ejuice out the end of the mouthpiece - just make sure you do this over a paper towel/napkin. You won't lose the whole tank, just what was in the coil area. Make sure all three silicon rings/seals are in place before screwing the coil unit back on.

One other thing that some have noted is that compared to the vision stardust and other clearos/attys, the draw on the T3 can be 'easy'. The fix is to break off a toothpick in one of the air holes in the knurled piece - there are three - should be two probably ;) I've never had a T3 leak on me but early on I did tear up the one silicone ring 'above' (when turned upside down) the threading of the coil unit - so I threw that one away...... I eyeball the rings/seals each time I refill now. Mostly they stay in place but ymmv on that.

The MT3's have a metal skin - only a cosmetic 'improvement' as far as I can see. The Evod's are smaller volume - also with metal skin and the baby T3's are small like the evod but not noticeably, imo, compared to the T3. I'd rather have the volume. The evod coils units are cheaper - about $1.50 vs. the T3's which are around $3 - again, ymmv, depending on sales and volume buying.... They all fit the diameter of eGo's closely vs. the vivi nova, protank and other carto/tank systems.

I had a feeling you might know a little something about them LOL

I like the stock eGo tanks (Type A and Type B) that come with the Joyetech eGo C kit. Bought a bunch of Vision v2 (v3?) clearomizers, didn't like the looks or the performance, gave them away (PIF?).

I only have experience with prefilled cartos and clearomizers. What exactly is a tank set-up???

The mouthpiece is (in Type A) a 1.2ml plastic tank, and (in Type B) a 2ml plastic tank, which is pierced by a spike on the atomizer when the mouthpiece is inserted into the atomizer cone. Refillable and disposable. I think they're really easy and convenient and the vapor is good.

I take it this would be like separating a cartomizer. The atomizer is at the bottom by the battery and the tank at the top. So how are these better than a clearomizer??? The plastic tank is disposable??? How long do they typically last??? Also is the atomizer a permanent piece or does it have to be replaced too?? Sorry so many questions. Still trying to learn my options.

What I want is a 900-1000 mAH EGO battery, manual, like they were selling a year or two ago. No fancy twists, or pass-thrus, no variable voltage. They are nearly impossible to find! And when I do, the colors are black (ok), pink (yuck!!) or plain steel (too slippery). Liberty-Flights used to always be my go-to place, but even they don't have them any more! HELP!! :(
