aw is not the end all be all that it is thrown around to be here. AW is just a guy who buys batteries, slaps his label on them and charges twice as much. AW 2000mah imrs are just panasonic cgr186460 with a red wrapper. personally i will and have bought the Panasonic branded ones. also, the vamo has built in protection, protected batteries are not necessary and may in fact inhibit performance. go with IMR style batteries for safety, they handle high current better and if they vent tend to do so less violently
While I am not saying AW's are the right choice in all cases, I will say the testing that has been done on the batteries does not agree with you, the Panasonic's you are talking about show completely different readings in the tests than the AW's. Won't say better or worse as each has a different strong point, but they are not the same battery.
I will agree that the IMR batteries are better for most apvs, but if you looked at the ones the op had posted they bought off ebay, then you would know why I stressed not to use them as they are not IMR or protected, they are just a rechargable li-ion you can buy anywhere.
