Thanks Klynnn, I saw that deal as well, and considered buying them, but Amazon is out of stock  Vapor Joe's is where I found my (link to) Vamo for $35! Love that site!! The main reason I'm considering the efests is to save on shipping, I will have already paid the shipping by ordering the Vamo, so there would be no additional cost if I got the efests, and it'd be great to get everything in one box rather than multiple orders.

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but hoping a few of you can chime back in for me. I'm about to order a Vamo, it will be my first mod, i have two ego twists, two vivi-novas, and two kamry X6's. The second my paycheck hits my bank acct on Friday morning, I'm ordering the Vamo, an innoken iclear 30, and possibly some batteries. I say possibly because I'm still undecided on the brand/type of battery to get. I trust my B&M store owner/friend, and he ONLY sells AW IMR batts, the 18650s (2300mah - i think) are 12.99 + tax at his store. The site I'm buying the Vamo from carries efest IMRs (2000mah) for 7.98, but they are flat tops, and from what I've been reading here, they may or may not work in the Vamo. Yes, I realize that $5 is a petty amount to worry about when the AW seams to be such a superior batt, but it adds up when you buy 3 or 4 or more of these things. I'm just trying to understand the finer points about these batteries and make an informed decision. My question is this; Would you buy 3 AW's for $44, or 4 efests for $32, and why? Also, is there any benefit to running stacked 18350s other than reduced/no rattle in the Vamo? Thanks!

I have, and LIKE the efest batteries in my VAMO, but my set with my charger (trustfire tr-001) take a very long time to charge. I've heard here that AW's in the same charger charge in MUCH less time. A friend just bought an XTAR charger and cut his charging time on both the 18350's and 18650's by 75%... I plan to get an XTAR charger and my next set of batteries will be AW's... the efest batts perform very well though and even though I chain vape all day every day I don't have to swap for a new one (or set of 18350's stacked) until ~24 hours later or so. The best thing I can say about stacked 18350's is they charge a lot faster than single 18650's. I vape 5 - 6 ml a day at 6-10 watts depending on the juice in my tank. I use Valley View and Vape Dude tanks with standard resistance cartos. I have both 3ml and 6ml tanks and they perform the same. all my batteries are button top IMR's.
Hope this helps...

This is one of the best places to get aw imr batteries: Genuine AW Batteries at RTD Vapor

Don't get the xtar charger. Get this one: http://www.amazon.com/Nitecore-I4-I...73&sr=8-2&keywords=NITECORE+Intellicharger+i4

It can be found other places too (like the site in the link above), but if you have amazon prime, it's a great deal with the free shipping.

Update: Vamo came yesterday, it's so awesome i didn't want to go to bed last night! this thing is a BEAST! I picked up two of them, 1 for me, and 1 for my store owner/friend. I ended up trading him the Vamo for an AGA-T and the AW 18650. Let me just say that Vamo+AGA in a truck with windows rolled up might arouse suspicion from LEOs. Holy Crap! I wrapped a 4/3 coil and set the vamo to RMS setting and have been playing with the settings but so far I'm pretty happy at around 8.5w I'm borrowing a charger for now and only have the single battery, but next paycheck I'm picking up an itellicharger and probably 2-4 18650s and 2-4 18350s. I love the weight and feel of it with the 18650 but as others have said in the Vamo sub-forum, it's a bit unweildy out of the house, so I'm looking foward to trying it out with the smaller batt, and also having the ability to stack them.

I also use use efest 2000mah IMR 18650 Li-MN's vaping ~6ml a day at ~8.5w and I get 24 hours out of them as well, but they take 15 hours to charge in the trustfire tr-001...

I can't imagine how long it would take to charge a 3400mah...

I'm considering an xtar charger, but am OK for now...

Hope this helps.

Hi cped, I recently bought an Efest 2000 mah unprotected battery and tried to charge it overnight in my 3 month old TR-001 trustfire charger ad it doesn't seem to reach full charge since the red light is still on. It has been about 8 hours on the charger. Should I be worried that it hasn't reached a full charge yet or let it sit longer until the light comes on? My multimeter only reads about 4.05V at te moment

Let it sit. I had the same thing happen, and I too was concerned, but it will finish charging and turn green... eventually... Since I bought these batteries and trustfire tr-001 charger I've also purchased a TESLA kit with a generic charger that will charge the efest batteries in 3-4 hours! I havent tried my panasonic batteries jn the trustfire charger, but based on my experience & now yours, I'm not impressed with the tr-001...

I really appreciate your help. I'm glad I didn't blow about $10 on a new battery that doesn't work. How long does the battery hold a charge though? I might invest in a new charger or the kit that you suggested.
No problem! The 2000mah efest batts need to be replaced ~24 hours after I put them in. My 1500mah efest at ~20 hours and the 2200mah Panasonic's at ~26 hours. These are pretty consistent based on my usage.

Really the efest's last appropriately, but my tr-001 charger doesn't seem to work very well (like yours). (Even my 800mah efest 18350's take 5-7 hours to charge on that thing)

A buddy bought an xtar charger and it does a fantastic job on his 18350's (he prefers stacked vs a single 18650), but he has to use those spacers and it can be a pain. I'm still considering an xtar, but the nitecore's recommended in an earlier post are attractive as well.

Regarding the kit I bought, that charger is for 18650's only and it would be nice to be able to charge multiple sizes like you can with the xtar and nitecore chargers... this one is great for my big batts though and will stay in use.
