hi guys, a pinoy vaper here.

i've been kinda new to the vaping world, about 2 or 3 months perhaps. i currently have 2 mods right now, a telescope and the lavatube 1.5 by young june. im currently looking toward this vamo thing, cause it's cheap and seems like a quality product for me.

i started vaping with the telescope cause that thing looks cool for me, but saw the limits of it then knew abt the kick but it was expensive for me to buy such a small thing. so i went and bought my friends 2nd hand YJ LT. its great, and im really happy and more than content about it, but that vamo is so tempting to buy. lol

any thoughts about it? saw an ad at sulit worth 2,680php with 2 vivi novas which im pretty sure is a knock off, but its worth a try for the price right? is it a good device?

I've been a solid fan of the VMU detonator-- I had two of them working full time all day. Then I heard about the vamo and tried it... I highly recommend this mod. It's a bit heavy and they say the quality's not as good as a provari but for a fifth of the price? I say go for it.

The one thing I love about the vamo is that you can choose to vape on a constant wattage so whatever resistance atomizer you're using, you won't have to adjust the setting as often. I remember when the attys I used didn't have their resistance engraved, it was a nightmare! Now you just choose a wattage setting and not worry about the attys.

It is great for the price-for under 50 bucks, you get a pretty versatile vv/vw mod that you can configure several ways. It is one of the bettter inexpensive ways for a new vaper to step up a level or two. There are some issues with it, though. The center pin has been reported to fall out or break, and you might need to reattach it by replacing the tiny o ring that holds it together. Mine broke after about two weeks after I got it, but it is fixable. It is LOUD as heck, and that rattlesnake crackle can be aggravating, especially if you are trying to "stealth vape". It is also very big, even in its smallest 18350 form. It has a lot going for it, though. By no means will it be the last pv you will buy, though. I keep hearing people comparing it to the Tesla, which some say is a better option. They are both a bit clunky, but what the heck? Less then 50 bucks to play around with all those feature and experiment with variable voltage and wattage, check ohms...why not?

I upgraded a few months ago from a YJ 1.5t to a vamo. I'm typing this from a starbucks while happily vaping on my vamo. I carry my YJ with me everywhere but it's now a backup in case my vamo dies. I love the vw of my vamo and would recommend it to anyone who wants to step up from a vv tube to a vw tube.

I just wrap strips of Contact paper on the lowest two sections of my Vamos. You can find a big roll of it in Big Box Stores for about $4.00. The Contact paper does get ratty looking after a few months, but it's simple enough to rewrap. Each rewrapping costs me about 2½ cents.

VAMO for me is a pleasant surprise. I bought my with the intention of using it as a backup, but after meddling with it for a while I realize its one of the best, easiest. and dependable, mods out there. Now I carry it all the time and use my Provari and EVic as a backup :D

I only got a VAMO because I got a deal on it that was too good to pass up. To be honest, I don't get a lot of use out of it because it's just too long and bulky for me to bring it around. It's super long in 18650 mode and its way longer than any other mod I have in 18350 mode by a lot. Then you put a tank on it or genesis style atty and it's just ridiculously long.

I got it in black chrome and the finish started changing into weird colors. I wrapped it with a Jwrap that looked like Darth Vader's light saber because that's what it looked like to me. A light saber handle because it's a really long mod.

As far as performance and features, its great! You can check your battery charge, you can check your atty resistance, you have variable voltage and variable wattage in RMS. For a mod to have all of these features at this price is a great deal. It's really great for what it is...just as long as you don't mind the really long form factor.

I just got my Vamo and it works but it seems to burn a little hot and makes my attys taste gross. I haven't played with it too much because I have been using my empire clone and beginning to like mech mods. Overall I think if I master the Vamo it would be my number one go too. I always have close to me a Lambo, Vamo, Empire clone, Gs matrix-3 and ego-T. When I go to work its usually just the Matrix and empire but I did use only the Lambo at one point. I got the Vamo to use 18650 batts as the Lambo only uses 18350.
