The problem you have experienced happens in N01 mode and is why they got rid of that option on the Vamo V3. Switch to RMS (N02) mode and I bet your problem will disappear.

Absolutely love my vamo.. I've got a lavatube v2, couple of mechs, two vamos , and an mvp. Out of all of these devices the vamo gets by far the most amount of use.. Switch to no2 mode when you first set it up.. Set the watts and forget about it.

they really aren't bad, especially for the money. but now that innokin is selling the itaste svd as an express kit for like 50 bucks, i think they are a bigger and better deal. also, the vamo v3 looks a bit "mummy like" for my taste, but to each their own. the vamo is a great, cheap way to step it up a bit from an ego twist and to experiment with variable wattage vs variable voltage, but the quality control isn't so great on them. i've had problems with 2 of them-on the first one, the center pin popped loose, and on the second one, the little button on the left got jammed in. i sent the broken pieces and circuit board to a modder friend to experiment with, because i am a little mechanically challenged. the vendor i got the 2 vamos from was excellent, and replaced the first one at no charge. the second one was a few days past the 30 day warranty. however, they gave me some store credit. good people in this business know how to take care of their customers. :L)
The Vamo...probably one of the better "bang for your buck" out there, IMO. As for reliability, only time will tell! Good to have though in your line up.
