I vaped on two Alaska Airline flights in late August 2012, in the bathroom. Swallowed most of the vapor & blew the rest down the front of my shirt. Did this in the coach AND the first-class bathrooms. I didn't ask first. I just did it. Took 2-3 big drags & nobody was the wiser. Just my experience, not sure if this will work on other airlines. Had the same trouble -free experience in a LEED certified Hyatt hotel room in Seattle.

Hi Rocketpunk,

If you'll be sitting next to someone you know it makes it easier without offending anybody. Since I started vaping (and I am a COMPLETE addict :), I've been on about 20 flights. Just take a very small amount of juice with you to drip or they may take it at security. It would even be better to fill a couple cartos. On the flight, if you only vape occasionaly to keep your sanity it'll help. Also, .no long drawn out vapes because you may offend someone with too much vapor clouds or smell. I always just watch the isles and am very conscious of trying to keep it under wraps, I will take little puffs and let them out towards the bottom of the seat in front of me.

Obviously, they announce no smoking devices at the beginning of the flight but as we all know, we're vaping not smoking :)
On one flight, I got stuck in the very last row and the flight attendant was seating next to me much of the flight due to weather. I explained it's only water vapor and nothing else and we talked much of the flight while I vaped away :)
Your luck vaping is going to be based on who you run into so don't make it obvious and vape "very quietly" and you'll increase you'll chances of not having to put it away on the flight :)
