are we all ex smokers?

edit: i was wondering this because i saw something in the news the other day about kids buying ecigs with 0mg nic to look cool . And when i say kids i mean 12-16 years old

I think those "news" stories are probably overblown hype over nothing. The ANTZ will make something like that up if they can't find it actually happening.

That said, I'm a vaper who used to smoke.

I noticed you're from The Netherlands and businesses and vendors there may not follow the same rules as vendors here in the US. The mindset in Europe is different than ours. All of the vendors I've dealt with here are pretty adamant about not selling ecigs to minors.

Can minors in The Netherlands buy regular cigarettes without any laws banning its sale to minors? If that is so, then I can see why the sale of ecigs is allowed. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I think we have to keep things in perspective. Each country has its own way of looking at things.

And, yes, I've been an ex-smoker for 14 months now!

The legal age to buy tobaco is 16 and for ecigs there really is no age limit as far as i know

Edit: Funny story. Was vaping outside my workplace the other day and had a co-worker ask me how things were going as far as quitting smoking. I told her things were going well and offered to let her try the butterscotch liquid I was vaping at the time. Her response was, "No thanks, I'm trying to quit smoking." To which I replied, "That's awesome... so did you want to try this?"

I only recommend vaping to cigarette smokers, 18 yrs old and older.
